I used to see notes from my guildies on my map... things they had marked. I see that you can send a note to group/guild, but is there a way to always send note to guild without doing it manually every time?

Very hard to configure, especially with gatherer. Would like to see options menu improved.

COT:COS is now classified under InstanceLoot as "unknown" instead of a Kalimdor - Caverns of Time instance and clicking on the boss skulls, instead of giving a loot table, says could not locate in PT3

Could someone please go to line 1268 in Cartographer_InstanceNotes\notes.lua and change the old and busted title "Old Strathome" with the PT3-compliant "The Culling of Stratholme" and then do the same for Cartographer_InstanceMaps\Data.lua on line 3145. This solves that problem.

Zomg, i downloaded the file, unzipped it, then dragged it into my world of warcraft/interface/Addons file and it doesnt show up when i click Addons in my characters menu. It works perfectly fine for my other addons. Please help! =S

Drag the contents into Addons folder, cartographer is several addons, not one.

Once I was able to see all Flight Paths (even undiscovered) - was that part of Cartographer (Where did it go?)? or was that from another add-on? Was really nice to have :)

You were probably using Inflight: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info11178-InFlight.html

It works nicely with Cartographer.

I'm getting an error every time I fire up WOW. It complains about QuestHelper, but most of the error information seems to be about cartographer, so I'm posting this message here. I'm using a mac with os x 10.5.6 and WotLK. I've tried hard reset and even removed both and then reinstalled - it all seems to revolve around indexing local 'IconData' - a null value

Also, the Donations link at the top of the page for Cartographer doesn't appear to work correctly. :-)

ckknight, there's something about Cartographer that's bothered me for quite some time (a bug that's existed for many versions), with regards to the Foglight feature. Occasionally when going to the Map screen, parts of the darkened/coloured areas (indicating areas you haven't visited) are oddly shaped or are cut off/cropped on the edges. If you close the map and re-open it, the problem will be gone. If you close/reopen the map once more, it'll be back. Rinse lather repeat.

Mapster, which offers foglight capability, does not have this problem, so I'm pretty certain it's a Cartographer bug. If you could check it out, I'd be grateful. If you take donations (Paypal, etc.) I'll gladly donate cash to have you work on fixing this problem.

Bug still applies to v2.4.

Looking through the options it says something about being able to make notes on the map, but doesn't say exactly how to do that. I'm not saying it's broken, but could someone briefly explain how that works? For the most part I'm starting to like this add-on, thank you.

When will there be more instance maps...I notice HoL and HoS and several others are missing?

I really love this addon.
