Addon Description

Bulk mail sending made really easy. Bulk Mail also offers the unique ability to automatically send emails based on rules you configure. This is very useful and powerful if you have bank alts that for specific resources. With a few clicks you can now send all collected items to the right alt simply by opening the send mail page.

Bulk Mail is originally written by hyperactiveChipmunk. NeoTron just took over the addon with his blessing and will work on moving to Ace3 and adding support for LibDataBroker.

Bulk Mail v4.0 Beta

BulkMail v4.0 beta is now available for download. The beta is a complete move to Ace 3, LibQTip, LibDropdown and other modern version of the libraries used. Please report any issues with this version so I can fix it. Right now the Ace2 configuration will be kept around in case you decide to downgrade. Note however that Ace3 configuration will not be downgraded to the Ace2 configuration.

Version History Explained

BulkMail 2 (version 2.x) was the version during Burning Crusade. BulkMail 2 (version 3.x) was the version during Wrath of the Lich King. BulkMail 2 (version 4.x) is the new Ace3 based version. BulkMail 2 v7.x is updated for Legion. Since it's rather confusing to have BulkMail 2 v3.0, BulkMail 3 v4.0 or similar, I simplified it to just BulkMail with a version. Typically the major version matches the current expansion (1 = vanilla, 2 = BC, 3 = WotLK, 4 = Cataclysm) although there's no guarantee for this.

Would love an update to fix the following:

When mass sending, rather having a line of each item make it go to about 10, then on 11th line add a ... with scroll bar >>

Also would love to see if sending same items to rather have a line each to add a (counter)

i have been using this copy (download) for 3+ months. I sorta quick patched (basic testing, but it has been runnin ok so far) the latest build to get that gray button enabled, so did not update TOC or anything else; i am just hoping that the author takes over the project again (love the addon btw!!! great great work) and continues development with a proper bugfix/enchancement release...

For me, the greyed out send has to do with not having a subject, if i go to the subject line and put in a space, it'll allow me to send the mail.

Is this still being worked on? I just started using it and most of the time Send is grayed out unless I remove an item. Someone posted on Curse that this is since 3.1. Any plans for an upgrade?

Most of the time when I go to send to one of my set destinations, Send is grayed out. Removing and item activates it, but that's a bad work-around. This morning, I had one time when it was active right away, but most of the time, it's grayed.

how the heck do I access the options? /bm, /BM, /bulkmail, /BulkMail, nothing seems to work.

PS I'd really really really like a message saying what got sold when I get the gold. If i get an unexpected 1000g for something, I have no way of knowing what it was! You have a message when I get an item (which is kinda silly because I can just look in my bags to see what it was), but nothing for auctions!

Ok, so here's the deal. From poking around the folders that come with BulkMail2 I found that the professions support is not part of BulkMail2, but rather a selected few files from another addon,or more correctly a Lib, called LibPeriodicTable-3.1. This Lib can be found on this Curse site and was last updated on Dec 2 2008. I have copied over the folders incommon and initially the results look good, inscription profession support. If I experience any problems I will post back here.

Replying to my own mail, not sure if thats a good thing :)
Sofar no errors, but not the blinding success I had hoped for. Looks like most of the stuff I want to send as Inscription mat is only listed as used for alchemy only. Although that info is probably from a different addon altogether.

I have been having this error message lately.
Using BulkMail2 3.0.0.

I've been posting this error on the TitanProfessions website, however now that I actually read the message I think the trigger says that BulkMail2 is causing the error through the Ace 2 Library.

Looks like Titan is using Ace 3 and there is some conflict with Ace 2.
Are you planning to move to Ace 3?

The problem is actually not in BulkMail2 but in TitanProfessions.lua line 251. It only shows BulkMail2 in the stack trace before Ace2 was loaded from there before TitanProfessions loaded. Simply a matter of B coming before T in the alphabet.
