FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

4.8.7 should improve that situation.
I noticed in previous version "leave vehicle" button is not in the list to be able to be moved around.. any chance this can be added in the next patch / update to bartender4?
I've been having an issue lately that happened after I installed Elvui with Bartender4. The issue is not coming from Elvui, but from Bartender. When I do WQs that require a button to press, such as a Tortollan Beachhead quest to kill the birds and crabs by pressing 1, the button will not work and it says "You can't do that right now" so I have to manually press the button with my mouse.
Anyone know how I can fix this issue? It's driving me bananas!
Is there a way to have the numbers/values on the status tracking bars show all the time? Cant seem to find a option anywhere for that....
Thanks!
Cally
I have an issue - for Classic, when on a flight path, a button appears that you press to drop you off at the next flight point, in case you want to cancel your trip. This button does not unlock and does not seem to be moveable. It's right on top of the chat window. Can you make that moveable? Thank you.
In reply to Mopperhoss:
My issue is that the button disappeared entirely, did you find a setting for it?
Hello! :)
I am experiencing a problem:
I want to have all hotkeys shown on the bars, but they only are shown on the main bar (action bar 1). If I check for bar 3 (which is by standard the one above the skill bar) it does not show the hotkeys which I set. The same goes for every other bar except the bar 1. Of course I did not check "hide hotkeys".
I need to see the hotkeys on my skills. Do you know if it's a bug or if I can somehow fix it?
Thank you!
Yen
Kind bug report: Was on my new baby rogue in classic and when I got my Stealth spell, the stance bar came up, which is good, but the icon is larger than I want (I use scale 0.7 for my buttons). When going into Bartender4 to correct things, I clicked on Stance Bar and the only thing that shows up is the check box for enable and nothing else. No scale or anything. Would appreciate an upcoming fix.
Cheers!
In reply to Lazare:
Uncheck the box and recheck it, same thing happened to my pally and warrior
In reply to TrindleShadowmane:
Thank you, I did figure that out about an hour later but forgot to come back here to say I solved it.
Cheers!
Hi!
I don't know if it's a bug from Bartender4 or from another addon, but as the Bartender4 name appears in the message...

This is from Omen3, which is not compatible with Classic at all.
Thanks Hi there
I've been using bartender since forever and one thing has always bugged me...
Could you add a way to be able to put Bars BEHIND the Blizzard Art Bar? It always bugs me that the nice gryphon or lion heads are hidden behind the xp bar, which is also bleeding colour slightly.
Like maybe a setting to choose what you want in the foreground and what in the background?
Thanks for all the hard work so far
In reply to Forge_User_20581519:
I'll see what I can do, but the problem is of course that some parts of the Blizzard Art are definitely meant to be "background", while others like the lions might look better in the foreground. Will have to see how seperate those textures really are.
There a little issue with the micro menu displaying on 2 or more row in the classic version .
In reply to Thaldan87:
The problem is that Blizzard for some bizzare reason actually makes the icons in that size, even if there isn't anything there. But I'll see what I can do.
Is it possible to disable auto self casting in Classic?
Not sure if is Bartender fault or something else but when I press my key combination for some spell like Renew, it will always self cast if no target or no friendly unit is targeted.
I would like to not have this, I want to 'activate' the spell and then click on the character / nameplate / party interface to cast it and then use the same way to self cast or with a modifier.
I had the impression this was possible on retail but not sure (long time since last time I played)
Thanks
In reply to flep_gg:
Ignore this. I thought that with Bartender I didn't had to mess with the Blizzard self-casting config, turns out its controlled by it and I had auto self-casting checked xD
Did recent update fix the disappearing main bar issues? Trying to figure out whether to restart using Bartender instead of Dominos.
Thanks!
I'm not too hip on lua files. But in order to change colors, add, etc it needs to look like this.....this is a XML file code.
