AtlasLoot Enhanced
History
AtlasLoot was originally created by Pernicius as a plugin for Atlas and contained a handful of raid loot tables to browse. Unfortunately, Pernicius was unable to maintain the mod, so Daviesh took over and renamed it to AtlasLoot Enhanced to provide a distinction between the two versions. Since that time, AtlasLoot has grown to cover every loot table for every boss, every item set, PvP Items and items for every reputation faction. In January 2010 Hegarol took over the project from Daviesh. Finally, in 2014/2015 Lag completely rewrote the entire addon for AtlasLoot v8.
What is Atlasloot

Minor bug: "Design: Ring of Arcane Shielding" is from The Sha'tar Honored, not Revered as AL says.
I'm not overly familiar with how load-on-demand works, but will it unload it from memory when you close Atlas or simply not load it the first time until you open Atlas (ie, if I open Atlas right when I log in and then close it, would that basically be no different than pre-load-on-demand or would it then free back up that memory when I close it)?
One of your other Ace mods is out of date and expecting a version of BabbleZone over a month old. The version in AtlasLoot is newer.
Update every mod you have that uses Tourist or Babble libs.
every time i log into my character i get this error message about something with The Battle of Mount whatever.... is there any way i can get rid of this
To stop data mining and 'bogus' links, Blizzard has a restriction that you cannot access any item unless it is present on the server side item cache. This means the item needs to have dropped for someone or someone with the item needs to log in or someone in a battleground hosted by your server needs to have the item SINCE THE LAST SERVER RESTART for it to be in the cache and therefore accessible.
AtlasLoot IS an item library, I store everything needed about the item (itemID, texture name, etc) but if you try to query for the tooltip or send the item in a chat link, the server will lock down and boot you off as it believes you are trying to fake the item. There is NO way around this and it was implemented as a specific measure about Patch 1.6.
If you are still being disconnected, you are out of luck, it MUST have dropped to be able to see it. Blizzard's rules, not mine.
isnt there an item library I can download or something like that?
do you mean it must have dropped for me? or for someone on the server?
thanks
It must dropped for someone on the server.
v4.00.00 Test - Load on Demand
This version is a test of the new Load on Demand loot tables. At present 2 modules are implemented, AtlasLoot_BCInstances and AtlasLoot_OldInstances.
What this system means when complete, is that the LARGE amount of data in AtlasLoot contains will not be in memory until you start using AtlasLoot. Also, it allows people flexibility. For example, if you don't need legacy instances from pre-Burning Crusade, you can just disable the AtlasLoot_OldInstances module in your Addons menu, or delete it entirely. The power is yours!
Please report any bugs on the forums at http://www.atlasloot.net
hello, how can I get around the unidentified items problem? is there a way to be able to see items even if you have not seen them drop? i tried lootlink and lootsync but I still get disconnected when I try to look up an item.
thanks
@reale It is fixed on Ace and will be 'official' in v4.00.00. I am not going to the trouble to make a v3.01.05 as there is an option in the options menu that works and does the exact same thing as the button you are pressing.
It is also fixed in the v4.00.00 test version I am about to post.
Still there after the latest version:
[2007/07/10 20:20:22-329-x1]: <string>:"AtlasLootInfoHidePanel:OnClick":16: attempt to index global 'AtlasLootOptions' (a nil value)
Thank you!
Thanks, I'll fix that button up for the next update, in the meantime, the same option using the 'Options' menu should work.
[2007/07/10 02:31:10-321-x5]: <string>:"AtlasLootInfoHidePanel:OnClick":1: attempt to index global 'AtlasLootOptions' (a nil value)
A quick look at the EQCompare code for AtlasLoot shows it completely broken, it's designed for the old 2.x series of AtlasLoot.
EQCompare has not updated itself to cope with the changes I made in the last couple of versions. You will need to wait for an update from them.
RE: Server maintainence, only the server side cache is wiped, not the client side one (like with a patch) so the effect is much less noticeable.
Seems like I would have encountered alot more problems if it was wiped after each week's maintainence... Either way, I was rather disappointed when I once sat there for 20 min clicking links to have them all known, only to find them wiped again later. I didn't do that again :P
It is a little bit odd navigating the new menu system in the loot browser, but I like the multiple stage breakdown. Much easier to find things in than before. Keep up the fantastic work with this mod!
@Daviesh Are you sure? I have never experienced any wiped data after maintainence.
It's also wiped if the server is brought down for maintainence.
