ArtifactTraitLink (obsolete)

Table of Contents

Lets you Shift-Click artifact traits to chat

Normally it's not possible to link an artifact trait or relic to chat, this addon adds that feature (which should have been implemented in the first place)

Patch 7.1 will add this functionality, so this addon will be made obsolete

You can actually link Relics too.

Great add-on while it lasted. Hope the Artifact Appereance linking can be made into a new add-on in the near future.

Oh nice, they did add Relic linking in one of the last PTR patches (19 october)

I made an addon to link artifact appearances from the altar/forge, but I don't really see the use for it though lol

Thanks, but found a mistake, it doesn't link secondary weapons. So for my Prot Paladin, it doesn't link Truthguard.

Oh you're right. You can change GetInventoryItemLink to use 17 instead of 16

It's possible to check if there is an artifact in the offhand, but I don't have a paladin/warrior test it with

Looks like a good idea, if those artifact appearances are included in the item links it might be possible, but no idea really. I can't get on the PTR currently ERROR #0 (0x85100000) and my sub is frozen for now

Hello Ketho! In my circle of friends you've become famous as extraordinary specialist with its own approach to programming, correcting defects of Blizzard. I would like to offer another interesting challenge Blizzard (so far none of the developers mods could not fix it). The essence of the theme:

Link chat World Quest from Quest Objective Tracker (direct the cursor on the current global quest, Shift+Left Mouse Button).

I'm still level 102 so haven't had any World Quests yet, but I heard about problems with linking them

(Edit) heard this is on the list for the Blizzard devs to fix

I've been trying to find out how to link a specific Artifact Trait rank, but for some reason the GameTooltip (GameTooltip:SetArtifactPowerByID) only knows what rank a trait is when you mouseover the trait / when the Artifact UI is opened

While internally it just uses the same PowerID and SpellID even when the ranks are different
