Hey this addon is great, however I have a problem that I am not sure if it can be fixed, I make a decent amount of changes and every time I log out and back in (or /reload) it all resets back to what it was =[ Is it something I am doing or can change, thanks
So the newest update brought with it the Loot to Left Most bag . . . now I use this feature, however the option when ticked, does not save upon logout/login. It is the only feature that is not saving for me. Any ideas?
So it seems it is ElvUI that is causing the issue. When I don't have ElvUI enabled, logging in and out, the option remains intact. When it IS enabled however, it seems to be over-riding your tick box. The thing is . . . ElvUI currently does not have the Loot To Left Most option available. So what ever is over-riding it, must be some stupid coding possibly burried in there somewhere.
Hey, I haven't looked at the other replies, so I apologize If this has been answered.
Currently there is only a single option for the floating combat text of periodic effects, is it possible to split this into damage and healing effects? I.e I want to see the ticking damage of my rupture, but not the ticking healing of my crimson vial.
Hey I loved this addon. Is there any possibility you can add 'nameplateOtherTopInset' and 'nameplateOtherBottomInset' to the list? It doesn't seem to save my options when I just use a /run macro
Does the cvar browser automatically fetch all cvars in the game, or are there some missing? I'm trying to find the "playerStatusText" and "targetStatusText" vars and they're not showing up.
The list was created outside of the game, however those 2 cvars that you mentioned do not exist.
playerStatusText, petStatusText, targetStatusText, and partyStatusText have been replaced with a single cvar "statusText" which affects what all of those previously did.
Hello! Thank you for making this addon. I can't understand why Blizzard would make this necessary, but I can't understand much of what Blizzard does, so there it is.
Anyway, I would like to know if it's possible to include the CVars to accomplish what this "addon" does:
so that it's easier to set these options back to the default if desired, rather than having to keep track of how I changed them in the first place and find my way back to that addon a year from now. I know I simply won't remember that I did something to change these things later on.
nameplateMaxDistance is actually already in the cvar browser, but I'll probably add a section for nameplate settings to the ui.
Awesome! I knew that the nameplateMaxDistance was in there, but it was the other settings that would keep the nameplates from clamping to the screen that I was hoping to see eventually added. The nameplates "floating" around on the screen when I moved my camera around was driving me nuts.

Is it possible to include an option to turn off screen shaking and head bob to this add on?

I can't seem to reproduce this, does it happen if you disable all of your other addons?

Maybe a weird question, but is there any way to reset everything to default ?

If you want something like that you're probably going to have to find a dedicated scrolling combat text addon that supports it.
This addon only enables the blizzard floating combat text.
Hey, I noticed your addon doesn't list two important CVars.
These CVars allow you to enable/disable the clamping of nameplates to the top and bottom of the screen when you move your camera away from the source.
Hope this gets added. =)
If you click on the "project site" link at the top of the page you can actually download the alpha version which does have those variables.
Hey
"showSpenderFeedback" , which shows/hides the flash after spending rage/mana/etc in resource bars.
Hello! Congratulations for the addon! I am thinking, since the new combat text is really small, is there an option to make it big again like WoD?
Thank you!
