PitBull Unit Frames 4.0

43 - Make units grouping/sort order customizable (through the code/options)

Here is the general idea: having party/raid/MT/MA is not enough. It would be great if I'll be able to create groups like "mana users", "melee", "Peter, John and Mary". What for? For example I (as a RL) want to see how much mana each healer have atm. I use RDX for that, but it'll be much better for me to just write a module that will provide grouping/sorting and will utilize frame painting and other logic. More that that, as a healer I want to create special look and feel for my healing assignment that can be different than list of MTs.

Actually if this will be implemented we can get rid of RDX :) Ckknight, if you'll need my help on coding this - I'll be glad to help. It's better then doing my own addon to show mana which I was planning to do :)

But it will be spec dependent.

For example the Shamans. Ele -> caster / enh -> melee / resto -> healer

So before hybrids can be sorted into a group (Druid, Paladin, Shaman, Priest), i think their spec needs to be pulled individually and then their role can be classified.

Has my vote. Would allow something like Dynamis Layout like Grid has.

hmm... could be cool, it's doable, too.

You could make custom groups for e.g. SHAMAN,ROGUE,WARRIOR,DEATHKNIGHT, call that the melee group.

Hmm... this gives me a good idea on how to handle raid frames in general to be more handled in a more modular fashion.
