PitBull Unit Frames 4.0

398 - Feature request: Hide bars on cast

What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?
It would be fantastic if there was an option to hide bars (like health and power) whenever cast bar is activated.

Please provide any additional information below.
A suggestion for the config is to have a tickbox option under “Cast bar” called “Hide other bars when casting”.

Thank you in advance and for all the great work you do.

I can't stress enough how awesome this request is. My "vision" for my unitframes setup is to have power bars that "become" my cast bars. This way the health bar preserves it's size and position perfectly, and I get to eat my cake. :)

I've had a go at implementing this for the Power Bar. The behaviour is _almost_ there. Out of combat with several simple casts, the Power Bar hides properly at the beginning of the cast. What I'm having difficulty with is getting the Power Bar to stay hidden for those few moments when the Cast Bar "lingers" (to display "Interrupted" and various other cast status texts).

Also, I'm noticing in combat that I'm probably not using quite the correct events or logic because the Power Bar will often be hidden even when I'm not doing casts that invoke the Cast Bar.

Anyhow, I'll attach what I have so far here. I've marked with comments where I've added my code and let's see if someone else can tweak it in the correct direction. :)

It might make a bit more sense to have the option for each of the other bars. If all of the bars (cast bar included) had options to "show only when casting" and "hide when casting", then you could create all sorts of interesting layouts.
For example, you could make a health bar that becomes a cast bar when you are casting. Or do that with the power bar instead (now my brain is ticking). :)
At the moment, I use my cast bar to display the units name when not casting (some DogTags or LuaTexts trickery), but these options would make it more conceptually easy to do so.
