Pitbull 4 Config Menu

PitBull4 is a continuation of PitBull.

Differences from PitBull 3:

  • It's mostly done, but not entirely done thus why there are still only betas (despite this it is still very stable).
  • Documentation is written before functions
  • Much easier for third-party extensions.
  • Options will be much, much simpler. In 3.0, there's about 200 panels that you can mess with, it's overwhelming. I want to bring this down to somewhere around 10.
    • Layouts are defined deterministically and unit groups use the layout rather than ad-hoc layouts on a per-unit basis. This will make setting up your unit frames far, far easier.
    • Due to some decisions made, 4.0 is actually more configurable than 3.0. As a layout designer, you will have a lot more control over how things look. You can have different fonts on the same frame, different textures, more precise positioning, and a whole slough of other things.
  • CPU Efficiency will be taken much more seriously.
  • It uses Ace3 instead of Rock.

    I've been having problems with the latest r20090606062304 release. Ever since I installed it when in combat (sometimes ooc too but more often in) my target frames tend to totally or partially disapear, my own frame when inside a vehicle seems fubar too. + I've been getting addon conflict warnings by wow since the latest update (today) too. The target auras don't seem to be working properly either.

    changing frame level at Aura-Debuff level fixxed that.

    Help, my Auras don't work anymore!

    FireAllianceNX, it's a bug. I need to fix it.

    Fixed: You'll need to choose Reputation - Standard on all your layouts that have the Reputation text. Since the bug was actually in the default code and not the support code.

    Using LuaText... with no rep faction being watched, (using the default text), OnMouseOver would show faction name... since we're not watching one, we error instead of getting a blank for faction name. Anyway to work around the error?

    Umm if anything performance has improved not diminished. It's entirely possible that whatever problem you were having had nothing to do with PB4 and just coincidentally was fixed when you downgraded.

    guys what happened since 3.1 patch PB4 has been killing my CPU usage in 25 mans, I am dropping 15 FPS to like 10

    i had to downgrade to run smoothly to one of the earlier versions

    Hey, my PitBull4 works just as fine but there is still one thing, which I can't bear.

    How I can change the Size of the Time Remaining Text on Auras? Simply, the time remaining text on Aura _ICONS_. How I can change the size of those texts?
