Who's tanking - frames
oUF based!
This addon is based on (embedded) oUF!
version < 1.32:
it requires you to install oUF (download from wowinterface.com).
Sorry about this dependency, but it shouldn't be that critical.
Summary
Since oRA3 doesn't provide MT-Target Frames anymore, i decided to write this addon.
The main goal is to display oRA3 sortable Maintank/Playertank target frames.
Changes
V 1.2. Add Font options (Font face + font size)
V 1.32 oUF embedded!
V 1.40 Add Grow upwards and Grow left
V 1.50 Update for oUF 1.4 changes
Warning: Includes oUF 1.4 (Not backwards compatible with 1.3.x layouts!!). If you are using oUF 1.3.x addons, please update them or stick to WTFrames 1.40.
Usage
/wtframes
TODO / Wishlist
- Config (Grow-direction, preview optimizations, ...)
WARNING!! for the latest versions (>= 1.1)
You should reload your UI after chaning some options!! (Instead of hitting "apply" all the time).
Because I do miss this option and to set targets manualy for Heroics.
Unchecking it has no effect (after reloadui).
For configuration changes (any of them) to apply
you NEED to hit PREVIEW first THEN Reload.
Am I the only one that assumed preview wasn't related to saving?
Absolutely love this addon! It makes oRA3 viable for all those who loved the MT frames. Now we don't have any more excuses. :)
Is there a possibility to add a highlight to the tank's target when you have the same target as he/she has? I remember oRA2 had something like it and I really loved it.
Anyway, great work so far. :)
I would love a feature that would highlight my current target.
There you go - font config :p
Hmm - Width+Height is not enough? Maybe Font-Config... *thinking*
Anyway you could add an option to scale the over all frames? My guild has made the switch to Ora3, but complains that the bars for WTFrames are too large.
There _are_ actually gui options :) Check your blizzard addon options, LDB display or just type /wtframes.
i will try to (!! :p) implement some options this weekend.
Great work with the frames! One request, could you add the option to make the frames "grow up" like the option in the original oRA2 frames?
smb,
I am not sure if this is useful for development, but if ouf could be embeded it would make the adoption of this addon easier and make the whole transition from Ora2 -> Ora3 easier.
Haste had posted this on a thread on wowinterface
p.s. I really like the look/feel of the addon so far, great job at a ora3 compatible MT frame implementation
There are many MT frames that require another addon, I was hoping for a pure standalone
