Hi Pazza,

Thanks for the fantastic addon. Do you ever accept bounties for features?

I've been dying for an alt-tab (or ctrl-tab or whatever) type message window switching feature... it was in an older version way back in the day, but since the rewrite, it hasn't really made its way back in.

Anywho, I'd be happy to contribute a small donation ($20 or so?) for this particular feature, if that was something you'd be willing to consider.

WIM v3.2.1 has been Released:
* Updated French translations. (Thank you vibé)
* Updated various libraries.
* Added option '<Tab> to advance tell target.' (Thank you Nathan)
* Added WIM API RegisterPreSendFilterText(function).
* Added option to World & Custom channels to disable sounds.
* Fixed bug in History Viewer when viewing blocked users.

* Added World Frame Click Detection. You can now click out of a WIM window.
* Fixed bug when editing filters. Changes saved even though user clicked 'Cancel'.

I use G2G as it allows us to add to our guild member access. In normal chat frames it shows "Guild [username]" but in WIM when G2G is on it shows "[usermane1][username2]" to give an example "12:10 [jaxom]:[freddie]how are u" is it possible to stop this as it is rather annoying, G2G uses whisper and then sends it ti guild and this is what seems to be showing up.
Other than this one issue Great Addon, my whole guild loves it.

Sounds like either an addon conflict or one of the addons you are using is sending a large amount of addon traffic. This is why your messages are being delayed for such a long time.

Just recently (the last few days), text I write in WIM window doesn't show up for about 5 min...then the person I was whispering, comes back and says...you already said that...so, it's not showing up for me, but for friend it's showing up twice. :( suggestions? I tried deleting the program and completly re-downloading and installing, but still doing the same thing
thanks for any help you can give on that. As I said, recent problem, wasn't happening before.

When I set WIM General Messaging Formating to Prat, the start of each message has the language in it; for example: [Common]

I use Prat to add player levels to messages.

Is there another way to add player levels to WIM message windows.

When you set WIM's formatting to Prat, Prat is now controlling the format completely. Make sure you go through it's options and see if you can disable language identifier.

Is it possible to merge all non-whisper important chat (guild, party, raid, etc) into one WIM window? I can only get it to put each type into it's own windown, meaning I have several windows floating around. I want those types all in one window, and my whispers in another, and my junk text in the original Blizzard frame.

I just installed this addon but i have a huge request. Before using this addon i used natural blizzard ui and gearscore. Allthough chat is much easier now, the chat doesn't add the gear score of the person who is whispering me. As i organise a lot of pugs this is very important for me and i can't use this addon. Please make it compatible with GearScore.

i think ur asking for alot more than its suppose to be man but i wouldnt mind that either but still u might be over doing it with that request. BTW, this is the only chat addon i have ever used and i love it.

no, gearscore had in brackets the rating of the person that whispered me. All i want if it can be done is to have in brackets (or any other way) the same i had with gear score and blizzards normal ui.

I've been using WIM for a long time but had never taken the time to configure other types of chat under the Chat.

I notice since installing WIM that it is doing a lot of (unnecessary) /who inquiries, and forcing my own /who inquiries to be queued by it.

Is this really necessary, and is there a way to disable it? (short of disabling WIM that is)

it does a /who whenever a window of a whisper convo is created. And yes, libWho is needed to manage this. WIM used to have it's own method of managing /who requests but was not friendly with other addons trying to accomplish the same things. Hense LibWho. is the standard on /who management

Hello, I've been a big fan and have used WIM for a very long time. Recently, I have started getting this error and WIM doesn't work. Is this a known issue with the newest version, or did I break something. I have deleted any trace of WIM in my WTF folder and still get the same error when logging in:

Oftentimes when in combat and replying to someone, my chat box will jump to the top of the screen, not at all where i have it set to spawn at.

Other times it will grow the entire vertical length of the screen and take up top to bottom. The only fix for this is to close the window by shift clicking the minimize button.

It also appears in a different location than I set when i get multiple conversations. About a 1/8th of an inch lower.

Any fixes for these problems?
