WIM (WoW Instant Messenger) is a World of Warcraft addon which brings an instant messenger feel to communication in game.

Known Issues

Addons can not process messages while chat is in lock down. To get around this, WIM logs all events and then rebuilds and processes them once you have excited lock down. During this time, chat is routed as normal to the default chat frame so you don't miss anything. Unfortunately, /r and similar keybindings to reply during this time will NOT work. Allowing the default chat frame to handle these events cause severe tainting issues and breaks everything.
Community Chat is now supported. It comes with limitations though because the sender name and message are protected and can not be read by addons or saved.

last stabil version is 3.3.4 and dont update prat to >stabil for europe is 3.3.12

as of latest version, i am unable to link achievments. when i try, i am only getting the world of warcraft error message saying that the achievment has already been completed. this is somewhat bothersom as my server is filled with elitist jerks that want "gs and achiev" for permission into a pug. thus preventing me from hapy gaming. CAN I HAZ FIX PLZ!!??

After searching through my 87 addons I have come to the conclusion that WIM breaks Real ID. says "Battle.net is Unavailable"

Yes I have been having the same problem still trying diff addons. One i did find was broker_altguild if that one and WIM is on it messes up. If broker_altguild or WIM is turned off works fine but not both at the same time =\. Still trying other ones to see if they cause a problem.

Unable to link achievements in whisper window. This is as of the latest build, 3.3.3.6. I'm unsure if this issue existed in 3.3.3.5.

Still having issues with this new version. On friends list says battle.net is unavailable and demote/promote someone allows me to hit buttons only once. Without WIM on they work fine. 3.3.3.6 ver on 3.3.5 server

Wonder how many people posting about errors with the latest version actually have patch 3.3.5? Those players in the parts of the world that haven't yet received patch 3.3.5 don't need to update their addons to patch 3.3.5 compatible versions until they actually have patch 3.3.5!

This is a great addon but sadly as noted by other posters is isn't working atm, is this in some way connected to being in the EU and not having 3.5.5 yet?

3.3.4 версия пашет нормально. 5-ая и 6-ая: если ты пишешь кому-то через /w ник, то начинаются фризы (конечно, при этом ничего не отправляется), ну а тебе вообще не приходят сообщения >_<
Видимо это связано с тем, что на русских серверах всё ещё стоит 3.3.3, а может и нет - понятия не имеют кто репортит снизу.
