I don't consider these foolsie...its just freakin annoying and made me stop using such a good addon all day....not a good move by the creators

Oh the modem thing is an april fools joke? Wow what an un-funny thing. Just stupid. I've been using WIM for a long time now, but now I may need to find something new to replace it.

I had the same modem sounds and also darth vader breathing trough my speakers. So I tried to reinstall the game too and same results.

Then I saw the date. Happy april fools day!

At any load screen, I am hearing a modem dial and connect. I tracked this to WIM. I deleted the add on and downloaded it directly from the WIM site, and it happened again. I have been using WIM for a long time, and this just started. It is one of my favorite addons, but until this issue is fixed I will have to do without it.

I would love to be able to see the whispers I've last received, without closing the window.

This occurs when people whisper me while I'm AFK, then log off due to inactivity.

Since yesterday my whispers are not limited to the WIM-windows, they also appear in the normal chat-frame. This is not a very serious problem, but I think there is no need to read it twice ^^.
There also appears a little complication if I used more than three windows durig a session, even if I closed the windows correctly. After typing a whisper the window is still active an I have to take [enter] once more, again not so serious, but sometimes kind of nogging in instances.

In both cases there is no Errormessage connected to WIM, it just doesn't work the way it should do, and I can't immagine why, because I did not install or deinstall any other AddOns before these problems began.

My problem is this. Sometimes it works fine but suddenly when somebody replies to a wisper I get just a strip of the left side of the box in the middle of the screen. I can't see the full box and i can't see what the person has written in the wisper. The only way I can get rid of that strip is to press esc. But I can't see the message as everytime I try to bring the window back up I get the same strip of empty box. I have WIM disabled now and am finding it hard to function without it. It's my favourite addon. It seems to happen most if i am firing up my flying mount when somebody wispers me, or in flight. Please can you help?

No its on normal servers.
It doesnt happen all the time tho. Just sometimes when i send or get a whisper, the /who window opens with the name of the person im talking with

Make sure if you are using DBM it is updated. There was an update about 1 week ago from DBM that stopped me from seeing all outgoing tells and I could only view incoming. This affected both WIM and the vanilla WOW.

I'm curious if anyone else has this Problem:
I cannot see whispers in my WIM windows from a few users. They can see my words, but theirs don't make it to my window. (they are not ignored of course)
Any idea what's that caused by?

Yes, Juldrew. I'm having the same issue. Ppl are whispering me and I'm not receiving it. But, a few minutes l8r, their like, "Hello, you get my whisper"?
Had to make a macro to tell ppl my whisper addon was messed up, because it was happening so often. Right now WIM is disabled, and I'm hating life because of it! Plz fix!

I just wanted to drop a note and say that this addon freaking rocks and I can't imagine playing WoW without it! Keep up the good work Pazza and thank you for putting so much time and effort into this addon!

WIM 3.0.9 Release.

This update applies many requests that people made in regards to the new Expose feature in WIM. The border which everyone hated so much is now disabled by default. I also added an option to select which direction the animation executes.

At last, and long requested, I was able to come up with a way for the windows not to close when the world map is shown or when you are zoning in an instance. You're message windows will no longer close and will be waiting for you where you left them for when you return.

The update includes some other minor fixes which have been reported.

In regards to the resizing issue people have been I having, I will focus my efforts on resolving them in the next version. Thank's for your patience, comments and reports.
