Hey bro thank you for an amazing project I am using it since 2017, back I didnt even know how to disable the fade, as you see on old comments I am asking how to disable transparency haha, didnt receive a reply :'v , the grea thing is it makes my eyes be focused on conversations, Wonder if could be possible to improve the icon logo on minimap to be compatible with Custom UIs look this example. I always see WIM has an old rough logo:

Its the only thing it would make it almost perfect *.* :D

Just basic stuff. I would not expect support for communities at all. in fact I can't even promise wim will work AT ALL if you use it for chat channels. I'm pretty much just making sure it works for whispers. I've generally never used this mod for CHAT channels

Whenever you whisper crossrealm, it gives a error so you have to avoid using WIM by double tapping enter to whisper xrealm players normally. Pretty annoying issue.

Couple big issues with WIM right now, don't know how to explain this one..

"WIM has been blocked from an action only available to the BlizzardUI"

First, Whisper Windows fade so you can see through them (Transparent) however, when you mouse over them again, they stay transparent and don't come back to opaque to read properly.

Second, for some reason whispers aren't going through if they're over the standard character limit. (255?) The addon seems to be breaking and refuses to send the message until it's shortened.

Perhaps Carbonite is limiting it for some reason, as per output result?

It's doing all sorts of things now it seems.

Tried to use a toy:

I'm sorry I know this is a dumb question. Is there still a way to get your whispers in in-line chat (my usual chat box) in addition to the pop up? Using ElvUI also if that makes a difference.

Why do I want to do this? I like WIM because it forces me to see there was a whisper when I may miss it. But I do like it disappears during combat. Sometimes though I need to see that whisper during combat and I miss it.

If that makes sense.

you just uncheck option to suppress from chat frame.forget where option is but it exists somwhere.

tyvm for the recent efforts to make this wonderful addon functional in 7.3.0!

I have discovered an issue with the most recent build, it is still having trouble with officer chat. other than that i haven't had any problems.

nevermind, it's just another GuildControlSetRank. The second call to it is fixed in 3.7.14+

Yeah it's giving me an error to ignore or disable because it's blocked from an action. I disabled the guild notification and history so hopefully it will stop throwing up that error cause it's really friggan annoying

Yeah, WIM works fine for me until someone talks in gchat, at which point it tells me it's been blocked from an action and throws this error:

Just WIM getting falsely blamed for things it doesn't even use. once UI is tainted, any addon that even looks at it funny gets blamed for it.

EDIT,s orry THAT is now fixed. i mistook that for the other taint WIM usually gets blamed for. the :Hide() errors.

GuildControlSetRank Is now protected so all sub calls such as ochat permision checking throws the error.

I am having the same issues as jockelino, was fine till 7.3 hit :( uninstalled/reinstalled, seems fine for a bit then bugs out :(

So will we se an update fro this in 7.3.. atm i get a popup from blizz saying WIM has been blocked from an action only availible to blizzard ui bla bla bla bla......
If i ignore it just keep coming!!

So update or let ppl know whats going on at least!!

It's just a shame svn on curse works like crap since they changed site over to new stuff. Not a single commit in last new months has created new files. Checking out from SVN also times out on externals so can't even check out working files either. You basically have to build WIM completely and totally manually. Not that it's had any bug fixes. just a TOc bump for patch 7.2, updated urls for armory and stuff, and SC1 client icon support.

But, as long as using curses crappy svn, no files are produced anymore.
