Is there a way to disable the sound when someone sends you a message? I have every sound button I can find clicked off but yet every time, someone sends me a message - *ding.
Also as with everyone else, the fading is quite annoying. Please let us turn that off. Thanks!

Posted Dec 6, 2014Hello. LOVE WIM. However, I found an issue that I assume is a bug, since I can't find a way to stop this behavior caused by WIM.
What happens is this: I try to shift click a name (such as a random name in trade chat) so I can get the normal one line information to popup right there in the normal chat (non-WIM) window. However, as long as I have the WIM addon enabled, it forcibly brings up the /who window instead.
I only just started playing WoW again within the past week. I finally tracked down what was causing this issue, and the problem goes away when I disable WIM. Please is there a way to fix this functionality? Thanks!

Posted Dec 3, 2014man that window sometimes go off screen like i dont know i get whisper but the window is like went somewhere and i cant get it back. we must have an option to lock down that..it s so messy atm

Posted Dec 2, 2014An additional request; is it possible to add the class coloring in the WIM windows for channels that the default chat windows have? Or is this an option already and I can't find it?

I still can't seem to find the option to stop the fading. I went through reading everything to find where the option was. Can you tell us what Tab is should be under? =) thanks Great Addon!

Posted Nov 30, 2014The option to disable fading is there. forget where but I know mine is disabled.
EDIT, i see problem now. since 6.0 the options are invisible so pretty difficulty to toggle now.
EDIT2, I seem to have fixed problem after about 2 hours of guessing. See if latest release works.
I fixed your problem too nonnon with armory links for US players.

Posted Nov 26, 2014I was beginning to think it was me. I was sure there used to be a setting to control fading but just could not find it. Please add a way to configure this. I love this addon but that one behavior is really distracting. I want to turn off all fading and animations as well.

I'm also getting this issue, I can live with most of it apart from the fading. The fading is driving me absolutely insane, especially since it appears to have zero control and will fade at random times (sometimes I can type an entire message and it will fade afterwards but then other times I will be mid sentence and it just fades lol).

Posted Nov 6, 2014I am also seeing the same errors with WIM following 6.0.2. Expose cannot be disabled neither can fading. To get the Window Behaviour bar to appear you need to move the WIM options window around a bit, but the display is all screwed up. I cannot press R and TAB to cycle through recent chats as in 5.4.8 either

Posted Nov 4, 2014Does anyone know if the option to disable the pop-up of chat/whisper windows has been removed? I love the addon since I like having all the whispers from everyone in their own windows, but I don't like it that the windows are constantly popping up on my screen whenever I send or receive a message. You used to be able to disable that, but I don't see the option anywhere in the latest version of the addon.
I'd love to keep using the addon, but as things currently are I cannot.

Posted Oct 19, 2014Looking to disable ALL animations and ALL fading, its all super annoying. How do i get it so it doesnt swoop to a corner when i click the close button, and to stop fading when I dont mouse over. I used to be able to do this on older versions and even then it was hard to find but now it seems the options are just gone.

Posted Oct 16, 2014Using 3.6.19 and I noticed no history is being recorded period for any of the windows. It only keeps current logged in information and if you do a reload or exit game then it is deleted.
