Thanks to those who provided feedback on the beta. I have released 3.5.0. It fixes the common RealID chat issue everyone was having, and disables the Wim2Wim subsystems (for now at least).

Please report any issues you find via the issue tracker.

Beta 3.5.0b3 fixes right-clicking from the friends list to start a realid chat

I have enabled alpha builds on this project. If you want to help test out the latest versions, you should set your curse client to get alphas. Keep in mind that alphas will break from time to time.

I probably wont be doing many beta builds now that I have enabled alphas.

As soon as I get some feedback on 3.5.0b3 as to it working or not working it will be released.

I think that Pazza no longer has time to work on WIM. It's a great addon, so when I get some time I'll be looking into fixing the *major* issues.

The mod seems to have issues with history and realids... labeling them in your history as unknowns when the person uses different characters.

It would be nice to have the mod check your whispers against your realid friends list and then group all of the whispers from that person under that name instead of using seperate names, even if they message you from a character instead of realid.

The new tabbing is also wonky. When you try tabbing through whispers it sticky tabs between two users, which is really annoying. It'd be nice if there was a option to revert it to the old style of tabbing.

I gave up on this. A lot of my friends and guild members have stopped using wim. I guess they don't find it as cool as it was before. Sadly, I'm disabling wim myself since there's no feature to keep tabs from auto focusing on new messages. Must have sent wrong messages to 5 different people today. Sorry, hopefully v4 is somewhat different. It's getting old.

ATTENTION: FOR PEOPLE WITH THE "GetAutoCompletePresenceID" LUA ERROR SPAM:

Rilgamon on the WIM forums came up with a temporary fix. Add this to line 147 of WIM/Sources/Socket.lua:

if(ttype == "WHISPER" and target == nil) then return end

Astrolabe related errors can be "fixed" temporarily
by going into options and unchecking Wim2wiM.

for some reason i keep getting the spam that canbie gets....and it doesn't matter if i whispered them or not...if i try a random name such as stop it still does it....its getting frustrating...the only way to stop it is if they are, 1, still online or 2, i reload UI and i dont want to be reloading UI every second. is there anything i can do in the codes to change that or something?

I"m not seeing any crashes, but when I shift-click to close Guild chat (and also Party chat, I think) a message shows up in the regular chat window that "No player named 'Guild' is currently playing". Just a minor weirdness, but maybe it's a symptom of something.

I'm getting the spam when someone logs off that they are offline. Also the windows don't seem like they are behaving normally. Can't wait for a fix!
