Hi
My WIM poped sporadically up, although the options is disabled especially in Raids. :-( What can I do?

Suggestion:
(Sorry i didn't try it after 3.0.2 so it might be already implemented)

I saw that we can play with the frame color. So it's regarding that feature.

[Option 1]
Change the color of the frame with the class color of who you are talking to.
[Option 2]
Change color depending on Color set in the chat. (If talking to someone in Raid it'll be orange, someone in guild it'll be green, blue for party, grey for others...)

[Option 3] Depending on lvl (+3lower lvl - Grey, +2lower lvl green, Same lvl white, +2lvl yellow, +3 higher lvl red)

This help to organize raid (know who's in your raid or not), who is talking to you (guildies or not).

It's not a essential feature, but something that can definitely be useful and I think it's no to complicated to implement.

I really miss the opiton for setting strata - i have the chat window in my lower left corner which makes it difficult to see my bags when i open them.

Is there a chance you can include this option sometime soon?

If i were in a guild on alleria, would i be able to talk to them while playing on garona while using this mod?
or is that even possible?

I meant to post this here, but ended up posting it on the old one accidentally.

So after much troubleshooting, I've found that WIM is still buggy after 3.0.2 -- I've tried deleting all files, including from WTF and every folder that exists in the WoW folder and reinstalling fresh.

The problems I've seen is that it makes the Friend and Guild page (default button is O to open this page) - to run extremely SLOW. It also does not show who mesages are coming from in the minimap button.

Not sure if these issues are being worked on, but after removing WIM, all problems I had when 3.0.2 came out - with guild and messages - went totally away.

IDK if this is known but if I am typing a message in party chat or guild, and someone whispers me it starts going into the wim whisper window instead of where I want it to go. So half the messag will be in the whisper box. Anyone notice that?

And yes please bring back the tabbed browsing its so needed.

I checked and checked for it but either im a noob or it aint there anymore.
Is there any way to turn of that little annoying sound you get when someone whispers you as was doable in the old version? If there is please tell me and if there aint please please put that ability back into the addon.
Exept that WIM is an awsome addon.(wich atm gives me headache with constant "pling" "pling" :-S ) Good work :)

Loving this beta! Great work. Yes, I'm victim to the occasional crash when mimizing... but I have another bug to mention:

I can't see any chat history in the IM windows, even though I have the options marked to do so. Everything's updated, working on the current beta, no errors popping up... just no history.

Am I missing something? Are other people having this problem?

Other than that, superb addon.

There should be an option to supress the windows in combat...
I myself dont have them popup at all when i get a msg, id rather click to open when i get one ...
and talking about that.... Pazza it would be nice if you could put back a keybinding to open new messages like in 2.0 :)

First off, thanks for all your work!!

My question is this: the "Behaviors for State" dropbox offers several choices, one of which is "PvP". Is this BGs? If not, what is it? I have a friend who won't use WIM because she can't turn it off in BGs, and I am hoping that is what the "PvP" state is referring to.

PvP does refer to being in a battle grounds. So that will suit your friend.

Key bindings will return.

I'd just like to say thank you this Mod.
I am eagerly awaiting the "default" tabbed windows feature which I am sure will come in time :) (It's kinda the only reason I used WIM in the first placce. Keep up the good work, WIM is an amazing bit of programing :)

WIM_Options is no longer needed. That was part of WIM2.0 and you can delete it. WIM3's options is built into the main addon.

Ever since the new patch was released for WotLK. My WIM has being doing the weirdest things. I have tried and tried again to reinstall v3 and even the old version to try and get it to work but when I log into WoW and check my add on's, I'll enable WIM and it works fine, but when I try to enable WIM Options it always says out of date. What does this mean? What should I do?

Aside from the tabs, all that you requested is there already. For popups and focus, look at the /wim Whispers->Window Behavior options... They are different than WIM 2.0's but more powerful. A lot more control over window behavior.

If you read through comments, I have stated many times, even in description, that I am adding the old features back one at a time. I rewrote WIM from scratch and did not have the time to finish all of its features for the WoW patch.

As far as you're Windows comment... I hate windows. lol. I use a mac. And if I had the patience, I would add the genie effect to the animations. lol. Eitherway, I thought that would be a nice treat for everyone. It can be disabled in the options.

For those with the crash, I am still working with some people to see if its fixed yet.
