Hi
I configured sounds for quest completion but somehow, it's not working. Is there a special config for this or what do I have to do?
As long as you have a sound picked that plays when you hit the small speaker in the sounds picker it should work when a quest is completed.
If possible can you send me a screenshot of the settings in the Quest Tracker->Notifications tab? :)
I'm looking for a tracker to replace QuestGuru's tracker, and this seems to do the job, though there are two things I want it to do that I'm struggling with.
Is it possible to add a maximum length of a minion, and not just a maximum width, and with that is it possible to make it scroll?
I want to have a tracker in a frame in the corner of my UI, but I don't seem to be able to limit the length that the box will expand to.
Also, is there an option to add a button that toggles through each frame with them all using the same anchor?
Thanks!
Sadly you can not set a max-height as of yet :(
Currently working on a feature to anchor minions to one-another.Though can you toggle the entire addon using the LDB module or in a macro /script SorhaQuestLog:ToggleSorhaQuestLog()
I'm also using this to replace QuestGuru and I'd love to see a max height option added at some point, although the auto-hide/show quests when you enter a zone makes the frame a bit more manageable.
One thing I would love, though, is my old QuestGuru sounds back. I used the OpenAuctionHouse "ping" for objective complete, and the ReadyCheck noise for quest complete - any chance you could add those please? They're both the default Blizzard noises. I'm using the peons at the moment but they're really quiet, and get annoying after a while, but I don't like any of the other sound options...
Hi
iam using r120. I have the problem that i can hear the sound of done Quest Objectives. And the Quest i have ready doesnt hide.
In r121 the option to autohide quests once complete or goto quests should function again.
To stop quest objectives making a noise select none from the dropdown for Objective Completion SOund on the /sql->Quest Tracker->Notifications Tab
Hey again! Thanks for the legacy update you did for me. I have a bug to report this time around... I'm using Chocolatebar broker display. When I click the quest numbers such as 5/25 to hide the entire quest tracker it will still say 5/25 quests on the broker display. But if I relog or reload the ui it will show up as 0/25 until I click it to display the quest tracker again and then it will show 5/25 again. Is there anyway to fix it so that it continues to show the actual number of quests I have regardless if im hiding the tracker or not after reload/relog?
Give r120 a try :)
Was an issue where if the minion was hidden the update function would quit before updating quest data and LDB :)
Thanks for the fix! :)
FYI : to make macro for quest items
/click QuestTrackerItemButton1
/click QuestTrackerItemButton2
/click QuestTrackerItemButton3
/click QuestTrackerItemButton4
Could work, though you might run out of macro characters eventually :D
Each time there is a new log position a new button is generated for it, so if you had 1 quest with an item, then picked up another 5 quests that were before it in the log it would be bumped down.
Each bump would make a new button so you would have buttons 1-6, though only 6 would be active at the time.
Still if you complete item based quests shortly after getting them it could work ^_^
Hey Sorha,
I'm not sure how often you check wowace tickets, but I posted one there. Thank you!
Replied to ticket with question :D
Just a small problem I'm having, not sure if it's a bug or just something you can't do much about...
The scenario and quest trackers (and maybe others) still display thin bars (the size of the title) even when they should be hidden due to nothing to display. It seems to be a problem with hiding them when borders are set to anything above 0% alpha. If I set the borders to be invisible, they hide correctly. Would be nice to show borders though without this problem.
If possible could you give r119 a shot.
And if the issue still occurs can you send me a screenshot :)
Well r119 seems to have fixed the quest log, it's just the scenario title now that still displays when it's empty (which is less of a problem than the quest log). Scenario tracker seems to display no matter what I do with the border and no matter what my title settings are. Below is a screenshot of it showing after a UBRS run. I usually have titles hidden but tried turning them on in screenshot...

Also, I seen you have planned anchoring trackers below the quest tracker. That sounds awesome for scenario tracker, but I hope you allow remote quests and quest timers to be anchored left/right of the quest tracker too :D
Hopefully r121 fixes the scenario minion title issue :)
Hello,
Thanks a lot for this great Addon
i just have one question:
Is there a way to show the quest numbers before the quests like the blizz tracker has.....
i mean the ones who show up on the map aswell.
thanks, Myka
I put a primitive version of that in r119, the option is the checkbox at the bottom of the QuestTracker->Quests tab.
Not sure on the hyphen colour choice, currently using the numbers colour setting.
