This should be a pretty simple request. I use ElvUI + Clean Icons - Thin.

ElvUI strips the textures from the default objective tracker item button leaving the item texture bare. (It also skins the hovered and pressed states.)

I figure complete ElvUI integration might be hard to do; so an option to just remove the default textures on the icon would satisfy my request.
