When logging in, all zone sections are expanded even if you have selected the options to keep zone sections collapsed when not in them. I realize that the option is to collapse on exiting the zone and logging in is not exiting a zone but, to maintain the spirit of the option (not having zone sections open when you're not in the zone) it might be better if it kept all zones collapsed by default when logging in (assuming you've selected those options to collapse/expand on exiting/entering) and treat the login as entering whichever zone the player logged into.

Yes, please collapse them. I handle this myself in a personal addon.
