Skada Damage Meter only merges the summoned hunter not merges the second that comes automatically. Fix it.

Not only does it not Merge the 2nd pet  when animal companion talent is used it adds more bars for the 2nd pet creating a new bar for each skill it uses so you end up with multiple bars for dmg all from the same pet

Animal Companion, Tier 1 talent for BM Hunter, 2nd pet isn't merging and is showing up as 5 different players with all different DPS values.

yes please fix this.

To Players:

You can unmerge the pets and then it works as expected. You'll have 3 lines (you and each pet). I keep my pets unmerged anyhow and most damage meters don't even allow for separated pets in the first place. Indeed if you try and merge the data and have 2 pets, it will combine the main pet with you and your secondary pet will be separate.

Showing each skill being used in the window: You can left and right click on the window to see different views. One of which is to view all spells/attacks in that session. Just right click to move back to the normal view. If this isn't the issue, then try disabling your other add-ons until you figure out which one is conflicting and report back with your findings.

The people who maintain and develop add-ons deserve more respect than saying, "Fix it." as if you can make such demands and as if they're your personal developer patsy. How about you piss off and make it yourself? Seriously, show some freakin' respect and quit acting so cold and entitled. Be thankful and say, "please" for Christ's sake.

To the Devs:

Thank you so much for everything you do. Know that we appreciate you for your dedication in keeping this add-on alive. Pay no attention to any asshats who disrespect you. Their lives suck and probably have few real friends or few people who truly love them.

@woafman   unmerging or merging it does not show 1 line per pet, with the pet summoned through the talent  animal companion it  shows up as multiple lines usually one line per skill used, in long boss fights it can show over 5 separate lines just for the one pet and if your in a group raid it does the very same thing for every other Hunter in the group, so eg: so if your in a raid with say 3 more Hunters you can have over 20+ lines just for the secondary pets.  So its very unclear who is doing what unless you take time to note EVERY hunters pet name and then add all the data up yourself manually.

 Turning every other addon off still results the same issue there is no confliction with other addons. While switching to Details damage meter everything works fine ALL damage from ALL pets is merged into the player's line and data as it should be.

   All due respect to the Dev's this is the first issue I have ever had with Skada in 10 years, but lets be fair if it does not show at a glance a players total dmg output either during or after a encounter then whats the point in having it ?  not only is it showing the secondary pet as being a completely different player line it's showing each skill used by the secondary pet as a different player resulting in multiple lines all with the same name this is an issue. Like I have posted previously I have changed now to using Details, not because I wanted to but because I had to.

I also have been using Skada for many years, and this is the only issue I have ever had.  The second pet data showing up with multiple lines of data. I have tried the other two major damage meters, and the data is merged for both pets into the character data.  I didn't like the set up problems of the the other two and prefer Skada.  Guess I will just have to use one of the other meters for my beast master hunter, which is my primary alt.  Hope this data merging issue is fixed.  Skada otherwise is great.

Animal companion was fixed with the tweaks module in 2018 >.> I added a better fix for handling any sort of extra pet so hopefully this is finally resolved for most cases.
