I've been doing PUG raids in Uldir and lately I have been paying a lot of attention to dps, since groups tend to kick those with low numbers. One thing I noticed is that after I die, skada seems to continue as if im still alive, constantly lowering my DPS since I am not attacking.
The end result is when the fight is over, they check the damage meters and my dps is >4k instead of the regular 9-10k. Not sure why its like that but I wanted to report it, maybe there's something I'm missing, IDK. Anyone else have this problem?
This is the intended behavior. It counts effective DPS over the whole fight, so if you die you don't do any dmg for the remaining seconds, so your dps (damage per second of battle) goes down. It matches the DPS counting behavior of warcraft encounter-log sites.
