New rares in the Coiled Isle and Vaults of Atal'Utek
A window for browsing every rare SilverDragon knows about, from /silverdragon browse, a left-click on the minimap button, a keybinding, or the "Mobs" section of the options
Rares are listed by expansion and then by zone, by achievement, or by what they drop. A zone with sub-zones shows them underneath it. Turn "Group by expansion" off to go straight to zones, with every expansion's rares together
Picking one shows its model, where to find it, how far through its achievement and quest you are, what it drops, and a map of the zone with the rest of its rares marked on it. Click a marker to jump to that one
Icons and colours mean the same thing they do on the map, so a rare you want stands out the same way in both
Search by name — in your own language or the addon's — or by npc id
Filters for hiding or isolating the rares you've ignored, and for the ones you've added yourself. Ignoring a rare, or watching for one everywhere, can be done from the list or from the rare itself
Two looks: "Traditional", which sits alongside the adventure guide, and "Minimal". Pick one under Browser in the options
The mount journal's SilverDragon button now opens the browser showing every rare that drops a mount, rather than building a very long tooltip
The "Mobs" section of the options no longer lists every rare as a checkbox. The browser shows the same thing properly. "Custom" and "Ignore" stay where they were
Announcements: rares are now filtered by whether they're still worth your time, using the same rules as my HandyNotes plugins
A new "What's notable?" section lets you say what you actually care about: mounts, toys, pets, transmog, decor, quest-attached items and achievement progress
This filters more than before. A rare you've collected everything from will go quiet, including ones the game is still flagging on your minimap. A finished kill-quest silences one outright, since it has nothing left to give. Set "Which rares?" to "All of them" if you'd rather keep hearing about all of them
"Current character only", under General's Loot options, now decides whether loot that can't drop for you counts towards a rare being worth announcing, as well as whether it shows up in loot lists
Rares we know nothing about are still always announced, and the old "Already found", "Got the loot" and "Completed by an alt" settings carry over
An appearance you haven't learned now counts as a reason to announce a rare, where the old "include transmog as loot" option started switched off. Untick Transmog under "What's notable?" if you'd rather it didn't
Treasures get the same choice, starting at "All of them" so nothing changes unless you ask: a chest whose contents you've already collected can stay quiet. It won't hide one just because we think you've looted it, since the game stops showing those by itself
Both settings have a "None" option to switch those announcements off completely. For treasures that replaces the old "Treasures" checkbox, and your setting carries over
"Known mounts are boring" is gone: the Mount option covers it, and it's also what now decides whether a sighting gets the special mount sound and flash
Map Overlay: "Show achieved" now covers any mob you're done with, not just ones you have the achievement for, so turning it off also hides ones whose loot you've already collected
The targeting macro's "Skip completed mobs" now means what it says: it was only ever checking the tracking quest, so mobs whose loot you'd collected kept taking up one of its limited slots
Map Overlay: icons are coloured by what's left on a mob out of the box now, rather than a unique colour each. Pick "Unique per-mob" under Icon settings to get the old look back
The broker tooltip colours its rows the same way the map icons do now, so a rare means the same thing in both. A rare we know nothing about — no quest, no achievement, no loot — gets a plain row and a plain white icon, rather than being dressed up as something you want. It's still announced, since we can't say it isn't worth your time
Map Overlay: colouring icons by completion now has a colour for "you can still kill this, but there's nothing on it you want", which used to look the same as one you'd want. The five are a mount you'd want, an achievement you haven't finished, something else you'd want, nothing you want, and nothing left at all
Loot tooltips and the loot window now colour the label of anything notable, so what you're still missing stands out from what you're not
Unified some scanning and announcing preferences: instances and dead-rares are now in just one place
Bugfixes:
The macro icon will no longer reset if you've changed it
Tooltips no longer print an empty "Requires" line for requirements that can't explain themselves
The "know the appearance from this specific item" option reset itself every time you logged in
A rare dropping a mount you already own but could still sell could be judged before the game had told us the mount was sellable, so it went unmentioned for the first little while after a login
Turning on "Transmog exact items" didn't take effect until you reloaded, and changing any of the loot or notability options left the map showing its old icons until something else redrew it
Map Overlay: counting an alt's achievement as done had no effect on map pins
Requirements that depend on a zone-wide buff stopped counting as met the moment you entered combat
Achievement criteria could load only partly and then never be looked at again, leaving some rares with no achievement status for the rest of the session
Items the game can't tell us an appearance for were treated as known-but-uncollected, so they showed up in loot lists set to only show knowable loot
Rewards attached to a quest you hadn't finished were missing from tooltips and loot lists when regular loot was turned off
The announcement flash could keep the settings from the first flash of the session, and only checked mounts for mobs
History: disabling it didn't stop the window reopening, "Clear all" left the broker's session list alone, and vignette entries never refreshed their position
The custom mob list rebuilt itself from scratch on every change, losing the leftover toggle that lets you re-add a mob you removed by mistake
Classic: the Overlay's minimap zoom could go stale, or never be worked out at all
Assorted errors from vignettes with no id or atlas, and from popups that couldn't be shown
