This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Note: as of Jan 2021, Scorchio has been flagged as abandoned due to the original author not carrying over her account to the new Overwolf system. Overwolf refuses to undo this. It isn't possible to release new versions while it's flagged as abandoned - they never get packaged. The original author flagged the project as "All Rights Reserved", so I'm not sure whether Overwolf would allow me to create a new forked version, even if I wanted to. Ultimately, the best path for everyone is probably to move on from Scorchio and build what you need around something like WeakAuras or TellMeWhen. -ywfn666

Scorchio2 is an addon for Mages that tracks Living Bomb, Nether Tempest, Ignite, Slow, Flamestrike (Flame Patch and snare), and Polymorph on multiple mobs, and can give you warnings and notifications when the debuffs need reapplying, or have expired completely. Scorchio can also provide bars for personal buffs/procs/summons: Clearcasting, Heating Up, Hot Streak!, Brain Freeze, Fingers of Frost, Combustion, Icy Veins, Arcane Power, Rune of Power, and Mirror Image. Up to three anchors are available for use (targeted, non-targeted, and buffs), and the sort order for bars within each anchor is customizable.

Use /scorchio2, or Blizzard's Addons configuration window to configure Scorchio2.

Localization Help Needed!

Lots of work has gone into translation, but there's still some left to do. Localizations are easy to submit on the WowAce Localization Page, and help many users. Please help with this if you're able. And thanks to everyone who's helped so far!

I've made this change to the file and recommited v1.2.9 of Scorchio! 2. The recommit should also update the LibBars-1.0 library people using the x64 client have been experiencing. Thanks for your help in tracking down a solution to this issue!

Someone mentioned they have errors popping up with the 64 bit client, but I can't get it to work at all with the new client! It shows up under my addons, and I can go into its options, but no bars are popping up. Any help would be appreciated!

I have the same problem, it doesn't work with the 64bit client. I can configure it, and move the bars, but the bars doesn't show in the game. The built in test button also doesn't work. :S

Seems like it hasn't been updated in quite a bit. I have had the same problems, I know some LUA so I will look into it and see if I can get a fix for it. I will post here when I do.

Is there a way to move the bars? They pop up right over my 'toon, and gets in the way of seeing what's right in front of me. If possible, I'd like to move the bars so they are below my 'toon...

Bars can be moved, yes.

To the other people asking for updates, what updates do you need? Everything still seems to work. Although it would be nice to have support for Jinx in the 8% spell damage category.

Also, I noticed that Scorchio seems to spit out errors (originating from LibBars) when used with the new WoW 64-bit client that was released for live today.

^^ This. i dont need anything to help me with my combustion cast, just would like to see the debuff bar for all targeted/non-targeted.

Same bug that was hitting AB, also hits the AM proc. IE the timer will not refresh when it procs again.

Thanks. The workaround I used for 4x AB won't work for AM because there are so many different ways to get it. I'll come up with something though.

There's a bug with the AB timer not refreshing duration when it's at 4 stacks; apparently an event is no longer generated for this in 4.2. I can fix this after my raid tonight.

I was having lock up problems with Scorchio but discovered I was using the version from 4/26. I upgrade to the one from 5.15 and that seems to have fixed it so far. So if anyone is having similar trouble upload the newest version.

Hi. My addons should all work in 4.2 without needing updates, since I had them compatible with the PTR over a month ago.

I normally like to release new versions on patch days just to make it obvious to everyone that they're updated, but I've been sick all this last week and it's been a big drain on my time. If the servers come up early enough Tuesday afternoon, I'll get new versions ready. If not, it will be later Wednesday or Thursday.

This addon is great! Yep!

It would be great if this addon could do Combustion as well as telling the optimal time to do Combustion. (When all three major Mage Dots are on. IE: Living Bomb, Impact, Pyro) I have another addon for that, but having this all in one place would just be amazing.

I don't want to duplicate all CombustionHelper's logic in Scorchio2, especially all its Ignite stuff; a lot of research and testing goes into it, and I'd hate to just copy it. I'm interested in suggestions on incorporating its information into Scorchio2's bars though, for users who want to install CombustionHelper but don't like its UI.
