This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Note: as of Jan 2021, Scorchio has been flagged as abandoned due to the original author not carrying over her account to the new Overwolf system. Overwolf refuses to undo this. It isn't possible to release new versions while it's flagged as abandoned - they never get packaged. The original author flagged the project as "All Rights Reserved", so I'm not sure whether Overwolf would allow me to create a new forked version, even if I wanted to. Ultimately, the best path for everyone is probably to move on from Scorchio and build what you need around something like WeakAuras or TellMeWhen. -ywfn666

Scorchio2 is an addon for Mages that tracks Living Bomb, Nether Tempest, Ignite, Slow, Flamestrike (Flame Patch and snare), and Polymorph on multiple mobs, and can give you warnings and notifications when the debuffs need reapplying, or have expired completely. Scorchio can also provide bars for personal buffs/procs/summons: Clearcasting, Heating Up, Hot Streak!, Brain Freeze, Fingers of Frost, Combustion, Icy Veins, Arcane Power, Rune of Power, and Mirror Image. Up to three anchors are available for use (targeted, non-targeted, and buffs), and the sort order for bars within each anchor is customizable.

Use /scorchio2, or Blizzard's Addons configuration window to configure Scorchio2.

Localization Help Needed!

Lots of work has gone into translation, but there's still some left to do. Localizations are easy to submit on the WowAce Localization Page, and help many users. Please help with this if you're able. And thanks to everyone who's helped so far!

Thanks for the great addon! It seems Blizzard has fixed the addon sound effects, IE sound effects for addons can now be put on the master channel (Power Auras has already incorporated this, so it works). You have any plans to incorporate this back into Scorchio? Thanks again!

Have to say I love this add on. Is there any news on the Ignite/Pyroblast dot timers? If those were added to Scorchio I could finally dump CombustionHelper and consolidate my raid add ons. CH is nice but it's ugly as sin and it clutters the screen.

I added this in the alpha version, but there were bug reports I didn't resolve until just now. It works and has a display you may prefer to CombustionHelper's, but it doesn't try to distinguish between small and large ignites the way CombustionHelper does (yet).

I'll have a release version with it in the next day or two.

Does this addon have the capability of allowing us to specify what to track? Both my trinkets now proc and id like to see them more clearly.

Dear developer,

I've noticed that addons that make use of on-screen handlers are producing a lot of game choppiness and I've even had a number of complete game lock ups. I solved the problem with Scorchio2 thanks to the options to completey shut all that down, however I'd love to see whatever the issue is get resolved eventually.

I don't know what you mean by "on-screen handlers" here. Which settings did you change? I'd be surprised if Scorchio2 were contributing to instability, because the mod has been stable for years, and since 4.0 there have only been performance -improvements-. But I can always look into it.

The best way to tell which addons are causing stability issues is to get BrokerCPU, and to play a battleground or run a dungeon with it, and see if some addon is using much more CPU than others.

i'm not that good with coding etc, but i would like to add item procs to scorchio (lightweave, witching hour,...).
is there an easy way to add those ?
or if anyone knows a good addon i can use to track those?

Curse of the Elements, Master Poisoner, Ebon Plaguebringer, and Earth and Moon. It doesn't track the hunter pet versions, but I should add it before the next version.

I don't think this is a very useful thing to track since it's almost always up; it's just there so you can check if you're worried the raid isn't doing it.

I love this addon! If possible, though, could we get pyroblast and ignite DoT timers added? They would make properly using combustion much easier!!!

The Ignite timer isn't very useful if it tracks all ignites as you certainly don't want to waste your combustion on a weak Flame Orb or LB crit.
A superior solution would be to only track FB/Pyro Ignites or alternatively track the predicted ignite damage rather than the time of the debuff.
