This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Note: as of Jan 2021, Scorchio has been flagged as abandoned due to the original author not carrying over her account to the new Overwolf system. Overwolf refuses to undo this. It isn't possible to release new versions while it's flagged as abandoned - they never get packaged. The original author flagged the project as "All Rights Reserved", so I'm not sure whether Overwolf would allow me to create a new forked version, even if I wanted to. Ultimately, the best path for everyone is probably to move on from Scorchio and build what you need around something like WeakAuras or TellMeWhen. -ywfn666

Scorchio2 is an addon for Mages that tracks Living Bomb, Nether Tempest, Ignite, Slow, Flamestrike (Flame Patch and snare), and Polymorph on multiple mobs, and can give you warnings and notifications when the debuffs need reapplying, or have expired completely. Scorchio can also provide bars for personal buffs/procs/summons: Clearcasting, Heating Up, Hot Streak!, Brain Freeze, Fingers of Frost, Combustion, Icy Veins, Arcane Power, Rune of Power, and Mirror Image. Up to three anchors are available for use (targeted, non-targeted, and buffs), and the sort order for bars within each anchor is customizable.

Use /scorchio2, or Blizzard's Addons configuration window to configure Scorchio2.

Localization Help Needed!

Lots of work has gone into translation, but there's still some left to do. Localizations are easy to submit on the WowAce Localization Page, and help many users. Please help with this if you're able. And thanks to everyone who's helped so far!

steven that won't work because of tier 8, you can't auto clear it after used because if you have a T8 bonus it might actually not be cleared.

As for performance hit. I don't recommend that. An invalid expire bar that stays after used, that's not really any worse than no bar at all, but at least you have notification. I say go with that and hope blizz fixes things. But i'd check out possibility of using the scrolling combat text event first.

Ok since I dont know the intricacies/details, I will mention again that I got it working through Satrina Buff Frames by simply showing me a bar right below my Scorchio bars whenever I get Hot Streak. Now somehow Satrina manages to keep track of all my buffs without incurring any massive performance hit. So why would the same be difficult with Scorchio?

Addon is not tracking Missile Barrage for Mages. Arcane Blast is fine.

please note new download not tracking clearcasting or hot streak, i go to menu and test it they show and track but real attack not tracking for attck dummies or real instance mobs tried both.

I LOVE THIS ADD-ON Please fix it !!!

I have problems with Scorchio not tracking Living Bomb and Scorch. I have to target something else and then target previous target to start tracking.

To all commenting about fixing Mbarr... This is a known blizzard bug as Mbarr doesn't show in the combat log at the moment. They (Blizzard) has already stated this and will be fixing at a later time. Till then something like EBB works well.

Indeed, the Hot Streak bar never displays, although scrolling proc warning is displayed correctly.

Hot Streak for mages doesn't show anymore.
Now I have to use Mage Fever for Hot Streak and I really don't like that addon because it doesn't have the features that Scorchio 2 has =/
Hot Streak bar worked fine before the patch.

As Codex said, it will be great to add Icy veins and Arcane power to proc tracking!

Also Black magic enchant proc, since many arcane mages are using it since 3.3

:D

Just curious, is there an ETA on when we will see a working release? I really love your add-on and it fits quite nicely into my ui. I've been having to use Mage Fever for the last week and I'm starting to get bummed at looking at that ugly add-on. Also is there any word on adding IV, AP, and Hero to the bars?

The sounds are from blizzard or other addons that use the LibSharedMedia library. Scorchio itself has no sounds.

Is there anyway to extract the sounds Scorchio uses into .wav or .mp3 so I could use them with Power Auras for now?

I am especially interested in the War Drums sound effect that I use for hot streak procs.

Anyway to get PowerAuras to use the sound? I looked through the extracted .mpq wow files and couldn't find it. maybe I just didn't look hard enough.

So you're waiting blizzard to fix something that can be fixed now... Sounds like you don't care if your addon works or not, you could make it check for the actual buff instead of combat log while there's no solution.

Anyway, great time to look into other addons like Elk Buff Bars or Power Auras Classic to track it, and if it works and I get used to, why would I download scorchio again?
