This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Note: as of Jan 2021, Scorchio has been flagged as abandoned due to the original author not carrying over her account to the new Overwolf system. Overwolf refuses to undo this. It isn't possible to release new versions while it's flagged as abandoned - they never get packaged. The original author flagged the project as "All Rights Reserved", so I'm not sure whether Overwolf would allow me to create a new forked version, even if I wanted to. Ultimately, the best path for everyone is probably to move on from Scorchio and build what you need around something like WeakAuras or TellMeWhen. -ywfn666

Scorchio2 is an addon for Mages that tracks Living Bomb, Nether Tempest, Ignite, Slow, Flamestrike (Flame Patch and snare), and Polymorph on multiple mobs, and can give you warnings and notifications when the debuffs need reapplying, or have expired completely. Scorchio can also provide bars for personal buffs/procs/summons: Clearcasting, Heating Up, Hot Streak!, Brain Freeze, Fingers of Frost, Combustion, Icy Veins, Arcane Power, Rune of Power, and Mirror Image. Up to three anchors are available for use (targeted, non-targeted, and buffs), and the sort order for bars within each anchor is customizable.

Use /scorchio2, or Blizzard's Addons configuration window to configure Scorchio2.

Localization Help Needed!

Lots of work has gone into translation, but there's still some left to do. Localizations are easy to submit on the WowAce Localization Page, and help many users. Please help with this if you're able. And thanks to everyone who's helped so far!

hi ennulig,
first i love scorchio =), but i have 1 problem and dont know what to do :
25 man Raid => the problem comes at ~1h+ gametime in a raid, i relog and the problem is gone , i cast LIVING BOMB and no bar comes , the bar only shows at the last ~5 seconds. addons installed: ace2,atlasloot,bagnon,decursive,eventalert,mapster,omnicc,portalbox,prat,recount,scorchio2,zomgbuffs
any incompatibilitys ?

At a first guess, it sounds like one of your addons is leaking memory. It /could/ be Scorchio! 2, but I think I don't leak (any|too much) memory over time. I'll try and do some profiling over the next couple of weeks though and see if I can tighten up any areas.

It's impractical to suggest you try running with other addons to see if it still happens, as an hour of raiding is a fair investment per permutation. So and I can do is see if I can tighten my end up a little, and hope other addon authors do the same.

It's not for me to say if it's better or not.

Scorchio! 2 covers more situations and is more configurable, but is also larger and more complex. I'd suggest you install both and see which you prefer.

I'm not sure why this would be happening for you. I've not had any other reports of this bug. When you see the multiple bars, are they all in the focus colour, or are the extraneous ones faded? What tank are you using (so I know what debuff is triggering the TtW bars for you...)

When tracking Torment The Weak, there is only one mob but I keep getting a ton of tracking bars that goes off the screen. Even if there are two mobs, I still get more then 10 bars. Is there something in the set up?

They are faded. We use 1 warrior, 1 pally and 1 dk as tanks.

OK, it sounds like other mobs (adds, or whatever) are being off-tanked and Scorchio! 2 will also pick up TtW (and other debuffs) on them, but will show them faded.

The next major release (v1.5) will have a way of only showing your targeted mob's debuffs, including TtW...

Hello Ennuilg & Scorchio2 users.
For the moment, Fingers of Frost tracking Icon is bugged. Because a simple miss-type made in lua file.
The author of the addon typed Ability_Mage_Wintergrasp instead of Ability_Mage_Wintersgrasp http://www.wowwiki.com/File:Ability_Mage_WintersGrasp.png. To fix this, just go into Addons/Scorchio2/Scorchio2.lua and CTRL+F Fingers of Frost till you see the icon line. Cheers!

The bars are moved by entering the configuration pages (type /scorchio2 or enter the Blizzard setup menu), click the "Toggle Anchors" button and drag the anchor which appears to wherever you want. Clicking the "Toggle Anchors" button again will hide them.

Scorchio! 2 uses LibSharedMedia for sounds (although it adds the AchievementSound itself to SharedMedia.) If you're not running any other addons that share sounds, that's the only one you'll see...

I'll look into adding some other sounds too in the case that you're only using Scorchio! 2.

There is a bug with Missile Barrage tracking whne it is procced by Arcane Barrage. The proc message and sound only triggers at EXPIRATION, and not at proccing.

Works fine when it is procced by Arcane Blast.
