RollWatcher

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

RollWatcher displays a table of players in your party or raid and how they have rolled on looted items.

For the moment, you must use a data broker display addon such as Fortress; otherwise you won't see the launcher and will have no way of display the RollWatcher window.

From the sceenshot, it appears that the mod shows what a group/raid member selected when it's an automatic loot roll(Need, Greed or Pass) which is what I wanted, but your description doesn't say if it will also show /roll or /ramdom results.
Just a suggestion, but you may want to be clearer in the description on what the mod does and doesn't do.

Anyways, thanks for the Mod, look forward to trying it out!

Doesn't work at all.

RollWatcher v1.0.4, using with the StatBlockCore LDB display (latest r28), USEnglish client/server, WoW 3.1.3 live.

Enter a raid, see rolls being done on various loot on various bosses. After about 4 bosses, click the StatBlock block for RollWatcher to open the details frame. The names of all the "winners" of loot appear on the left side of the frame similar to the screenshot in the Overview. But...no loot details appear on the right side of the frame at all. Its blank beside every name. The arrows at the bottom right of the frame do nothing; there is no "1-2 of 2" between the arrows (as is shown in the screenshot above) or any other text.

Would be nice to see this in working order. NRT, MarsNeedyGreedy & even the ancient, pre-LichKing FuBar_GreedBeacon all have never had a problem here properly recording both who rolls for what and what loot people have won.

It works normal on my wow except one problem.
It doesn't show Greed or Need parts of the rolls. (shows Passes)

What addons you need, or what settings you need, so you can see the results?
I play with a German version of WOW on a German Server
I see all the class colors, but no Rolls (nothing)
I hope you understand me

I have Ace3, Fortess and Roll Watcher

I understand; thanks for the screenshot. It is not a matter of you needing another mod. RollWatcher learns of people's roll choices by parsing messages in the chat log. Although my code does so in a way which should work across locales, it obviously isn't working in the German client for some reason.

This is not easy for me to debug directly, so I will have to hunt for an addon which parses roll messages and see what it does differently. Apologies that this isn't working yet.

Oh, I should have thought of this before: in interface options, under Display, make sure "detailed loot information" is checked. (You can move the loot messages to a different chat tab if they're spamming your main chat window.)

I added a window scale slider in 1.0.4, and lowered the internal spacing from 10 to 5.

Thanks for the changes. The window looks great for me at 75% scale and the reduced spacing.

If you ever decide to add border options (for example, I disable the border completely to look more consistent with my UI), I won't need to add any of my own hacks. :)

Either way, thanks for your efforts on this nifty mod.
