Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Add Rating conversion values to tooltips.

This addon will add the ratings value to tooltips in a non intrusive way.

For instance, the tooltip line "Improves hit rating by 11." will look like "Improves hit rating by 11 (0.34%@L80)."

The format of this string can be changed in the option panel. You can set a different color by using escape codes.

This addon is meant for users that do not want to install RatingBuster and still want to get an idea of the value of ratings.

Add following codes after 59th line in core.lua to make the addon work in Traditional Chinese.
At least correctly for spell casters, since I only have a warlock to do the test.
As for the panel, there apparently no translation is in need. ~ ~

Thanks for your nice work..But, would you add support for zhTW-Traditional Chinese?! That can't be too great.
Every time I open interface>addon>ratings, the menu just breaks out, hence I can not use its options at all.
wondering if I can fix it by myself....

I'm getting wrong rating values for armor penetration on my level 80 rogue.

According to my calculations (13.99 arp rating is 1% arp), the following needs to be changed:
core.lua - line 335
from: [CR_ARMOR_PENETRATION] = 4.69512176513672,
to: [CR_ARMOR_PENETRATION] = 4.2665462669894,

I was just curious if there was a way to update the rating conversion for Armor Pen. I think it is still set to the 25% instead of the current 10%. I would really like to use the addon cause it is simplistic and does what I need it to, but would also like for the ArP rating to be accurate.

Because using RatingBuster is quite expensive.

Ratings is designed to have little impact on performance while providing useful information.

i think people that are reporting it "does nothing" may be expecting this MOD to do similar to RATINGBUSTER, in that it will compare lots of stats like :

SPIRIT,
ARMOUR,
HEALTH,
MANA,
AGILITY,
etc.

i believe this MOD is only for reporting things like "CRIT RATING", "DEFENSE RATING", anything with a RATING description.

i've made a pic of it in action. in the pic there are two highlighted areas:

a) there is Blizz's own stat compare (similar to RATINGBUSTER)
b) the other highlighted part shows this MOD giving a little more detail to the "DEFENSE RATING" (11.30@54)

Works for me. I also checked on the PTR and it's working there too.

I think I need more information from you so that I can help you.

What locale are you playing on ? Ratings only supports enUS and frFR, IIRC.

Are you using any tooltip addon besides Ratings ?

Do you see the Ratings options in the Addons menu ?
