Tooltip transparent with Elvui Blizzard Skinning enabled #403

    • Did you RESTART the game after updating the addon? (Make sure to exit and close fully the client, and not just reload your UI, to detect newly-added files)
    • Steps to reproduce the error or unwanted behaviour (If the addon won't load, make sure to enable script errors!)
    • Any other information you consider relevant or helpful in solving the problem (Screenshots, expected behaviour, things you already tried to fix the issue...)

    r698-release, ElvUI 11.41 (which is the first one to cause this), AddonSkins

     

    After updating ElvUI, I've lost the tooltip background when having ElvUI skin Blizzard frames. I'm not sure which specific texture is being replaced now, but it was working just a day or so ago.

    After reloading everything, I'm still seeing the issue, but only on the mini tooltip, not on the main tooltip.

    And it's busted again. Seems to be inconsistent. 

     

    edit: It looks like you've previously said this issue is caused by ElvUI interactions, I'm leaning more towards this being an issue caused by ElvUI update and needs AddonSkins to update unless there's a fix that can be done on your side of things.

    Other addons also had this problem, like SavedInstances here: https://github.com/SavedInstances/SavedInstances/issues/248

     

    Since they use the same tooltip library, LibQTip, I'd suspect the problem lies in the interaction with this library and ElvUI/AddonSkins.

    Issue resolved by Addonskins update and/or removing Informant.
