Issue: The minimap icon is visible however when i click on it nothing happens. If I hover over it, used to show a list of all mounts/pets uncollected, etc now it shows nothing. Please help.

Version: Current r697 release 2

Restart: Yes, have had the addon for a long time, only last month or so will the minmap icon not work.

Steps: Have attempoted to remove all addons and leave only this, nothing.

Sounds like there was an error while loading the addon, but without more information (the actual error message) I can't say more. I assume typing /rarity also doesn't work, i.e. the addon hasn't loaded?

No error message at all. If i move the mouse over the icon it doesnt not load. I am unable to right click or left click on it. /rarity only brings up the addon menu. Removing the icon and placing it back again does not work.

You would have to make sure that script errors are enabled (see the FAQ), as otherwise any error that might have popped up won't be shown. It's possible there's an error that occurs only after trying to access the tooltip, so the addon is loaded but the UI cannot be shown.

If you type /rarity debug before trying to hover over the button, it might also print some information if it encounters something odd (that may prevent the tooltip from being displayed).

Yup no good. No error when hover over the minimap icon. Still nothing shows up. I can't right click it or left click, /rarity however works fine.

I still get tooltips just fine, chat spams with kill counts, etc. Just no menu pop up when I hover the minimap icon.

I have a thread with a similar issue going on as well, with lua errors enable, maybe you can check that one?

Hopefully you can pry a solution from that?

 I assume this is the same issue with the tooltip not showing as some other people have reported. In this case, it's probably caused by some items that you added incorrectly (missing ID, etc.) or that somehow failed to load.

The addon should now ignore these items and notify you if it manages to detect a problem :)

Fantastic, thank you so much to everyone it has been fixed. Looks like CakeChart hit the nail on the head, deleted all custom inclusions and started working again. Appreciate everyone chipping in on this one.
