r679-release is the version im using, I have restared and tried to update.
My issue comes from trying to add the new fishing mount [Great Sea Ray]. I got it into rarity, it even gets the icon for it´ and everything! The addon clearly detects the mount. I have added the droprate, zone, ID's and current attempts but it wont track/announce it whenever I cast and get a fish.. I would want the addon to track my attempts for the mount but it just wont work. I tried playing around with all the settings but I just cant get it right.
Maybe im just doing something wrong, but as far as I can tell, it most likely is a bug. Please help! Thank you for your time.
It's much more likely that you simply entered the wrong information. Unfortunately, I don't know what settings you used, so you'll have to share them if you want me to troubleshoot where the problem lies :)
Fishing detection is very wonky due to limitations of Blizzard's API, which is another issue that may make it more difficult to track this item properly. It's partially why I haven't added the mount to the default items being tracked already.
I will post my settings once I get home! Hopefully I can get this fixed, would be great to see it being tracked. Love your addon.
My settings are the following:
Method of obtaining - Fishing
Type of item - Mount
ID: 1613131 (Should be correct)
Spell ID: 278803 (Should also be correct)
Zones - Tried without zones and with zones
Requires a pool - Not ticked
Track this - Yes
Announce - Yes
Repeatable - Yes
Attempts - 1
Chance - 200
Enable Coins - No
Quest ID, Dung ID, Boss Name - None
Instance difficulty - None
Disable for classes - None
Obtained Quest ID - None
Obtained Achievement - None
You'll need to enter the correct zones so Rarity can track you fishing there.
I've tried multiple different zones, even the zone ID's but none seemed to work. Where can I find the reliable and correct zones or ID's for the zones?
Finally works, thank you!
Had to get the zones right.
You can use the WOW API ingame to find the proper zone IDs, or try to find a pre-compiled list on the internet. You should also be able to use localized zone names for this field, as Rarity will look up the zone ID for you if you spell it correctly :)
