JasonQuest
This Addon allows you to view other group members quests that also have JasonQuest. You just click on the icon on your minimap and select a person from your group by picture. Hit Synchronize if you are doing this for the first time and when completed you will be able to see what quests they have, which are completed, and what their progress is. You can even mark it to view like you do for Quest tracker.

Credit Note:
This AddOn was created for my internal use with my family while leveling up
together. In the process, I looked at Quixote and QuestLogFrame.lua. Since
the AddOn wasn't meant for public consumption at first, I may have missed
giving credit where credit is due. Please know that this is not intentional
and a simple email letting me know I've missed a credit is all that's needed
to get the insertion.

Posted Nov 5, 2008This is what i got back
I don't think so at this time. I don't have an active WoW account as I've moved to Warhammer Online for the time being.
I'm sure someone will pick it up eventually. It's needed an update for quite a while now though.
i updated the lib's dont know much about this kind of codeing it helped but quest dont show up in log but it fixed the fact i could see the quest when wife did them on her toon

Posted Dec 2, 2007This is by far the best addon ever. Clear and Concise and exactly what's needed if you're helping out a friend who quite a bit dumb on their quests.. or if they are just a noob and want to speed things up, a MUST have mod.
Also, Owner makes updates about every 2-3 days so the best way to get this is to get the WoWAceUpdater from www.wowace.com and make sure you have .NET 2.0 with security patch installed. That way you keep this and your other Ace Mods updated properly, to stave off the bugs.

Posted Sep 29, 2007this is actually really awesome addon, often when i'm questing with my pals there is the always annoying asking how many more of this and how many more of that do you need, but with this you can keep track of their quests as well. Its buggy at times but its well worth it if you quest with your pals.
thanks for this wonderful tool : )

Posted Sep 26, 2007Excellent. What I have been looking for. No more looking over at the wife's puter to figure out what to do next.
One suggestion. (And then this would the ADDON to end all ADDONs for me...)
Can you incorporate LIGHTHEADED into it...
Thanks in advance
PS. It doesn't like Lib : Ace 2 (Think thats the library.) Had to kill that to get it to work on my system No loss tho, nothing else broke.

Posted Sep 6, 2007First off, thank you for the nice comments!
To be honest, I haven't tried the matchfade feature without using the minimap button. Basically when you type something into search, it'll fade the non-matched items (instead of trying to indicated matched, it was easier) to that value. By default I think it's 0.2 alpha (out of 1.0). It takes affect immediately (and if you have a search parameter entered, you can watch in realtime the change).
As for the minimap button settings, I don't require DewDrop but if it's there the options will be in a right-click menu off of the minimap button. I'll be embedding DewDrop in the next release so it'll be there regardless.

Posted Sep 6, 2007NICE mod the gang and I are playin with it and so far it looks REAL good.
Only issue was using the MatchFade feature. We tried several settings and can't seem to make it work. Can you provide more information?
Do you have to re-synch after setting it? Do you have to be close for it to work?
Keep on keeping on, this one has golden written all over it
