ArenaMaster

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

This addon helps you to identify what are the classes of your opponents in arenas. This is some kind of Score frame replacement for arenas, since the blizzard one is only available at the end of the arena. Simply target or mouseover an enemy while inside of an arena adds his class and name to a draggable and resizable frame. The class and names are colored with the class associated color (druid=orange, priest=white etc). Of course you cannot detect who are your opponents before the arena starts. Also, when an enemy dies, his name is greyed, and recolored if detected alive later (FD, resurrection, ...)

Infos are shared and synced to other users of this addon using the addon channel.

Click on a name in the frame to target that enemy.

To move the frame, alt+drag it.

Proximo is NOTHING like AM and blows pretty hard any chance you will reactivate this mod?

The development of Arenamaster is halted. Have a look at Proximo as it's close to what I'd wanted AM to be.

Thanks for the info, Eri. One more question -- as a mage, my target and focus clears if I go invisible. Will I also lose my arenamaster target list if I go invisible? I don't use invis much in arena but would like to be prepared if/when I do.

Is there a way to pull up a test screen so that I can make changes to size and location without being in the actual arena? Thanks

Hi,
first, thanks for a create addon.
I have 2 suggestions for extension:

) Im a hunter, if i use my skill to see humans on the minimap i see their names, at the moment i have to type /target followed by their name to geht them into arenamaster, it would be nice if arenamaster could to this for me. I dont know if its possilbe to read out this in LUA. But one could try :-)

) if rightclick on a name in arenamaster invoke a /bg message to let my team know to attack this target. (maybe add a shortcut to arenamaster to let the members quickly change their target to the teamleaders target.)

what you think ?

@rufinus: I'm a hunter too, I'm using the addon Personal Sentry, which does basicly that. Unfortunately it doesn't sync with the other arena players, would be nice if Arenamaster could do that on its own too :)
@sakhmet: seems "/arenamaster pick" allows you to do that, put the right slider up to 100%

-> Type /arenamaster and then use the option "scale", "heigth" or "width". E.g. /arenamaster scale 0.3
