Procodile

Table of Contents

Procodile gathers statistics on certain chance-on-use spells, also known as procs. It currently tracks:

Number of procs
Procs per minute (PPM)
Uptime (percentage of time spent tracking)
Damage per second (DPS)
Min/average/max damage
Energy regen on self
Energy regen for party/raid per second
Estimated internal cooldown

The estimated internal cooldown is the shortest time between two procs in one fight. The DPS is only shown for procs where it makes sense, such as Bandit's Insignia. Likewise, energy regen (Replenishment for instance) is only shown where applicable.

Procs and cooldowns can be announced with combat text messages, screen flashing and shaking, and sounds, to get your attention.

Procodile can show bars for the estimated internal cooldown, and for the duration of aura-style procs, where a temporary buff or debuff is applied to you or your target. The bars can be fully customized.

It will automatically find your worn proc items, enchants, talents, and glyphs. You can also add your own spells to track. You can disable those procs you are not interested in.

Note that not all items, enchants and talents are included. They are hardcoded in since that is the only way of associating, for example, an item with a proc.

Statistics can be displayed through an LDB display addon (a few examples are Titan, Fortress, and DockingStation), or from a minimap button. Proc statistics are also shown in item tooltips.

SharedMedia is recommended for more fonts, textures and sounds.

Missing a proc, or one not working?

File a ticket about it please and I will most likely be able to add/fix it. Most of the procs Procodile can track are not tested by myself.

Even the newest version 3.0-5 doesn't show in fubar anymore and if i type /procodile i get following error in swat:

The addon does not support Fubar anymore. Instead you need a Data Broker display addon to show it (a Fubar-like one is Titan Bar).

It should show a minimap button though. Can you access the configuration from Blizzard's Interface->Addons screen? If so, look under Options and enable "Show minimap button".

Yes i can access options and i just noticed a minimap button. It was overlapped by some other button and i just didn't expect it cause i got used to fubar menu. Also i got a bit confused that /procodile would give error. I guess it's time to get that Data Broker addon.

Thanks for updating it, it's the best of its kind and thanks for clarification. :)

Updated for 3.0. Added support for instant procs on yourself and target, as well as auras on targets. It's mostly untested. Also added is support for talents (it doesn't recognize if you actually have them yet), some Wrath trinkets and enchants, and profiles.

To fix the "Interface\AddOns\Procodile\Procodile.lua:324: attempt to call global 'InterfaceOptionsFrame_OpenToFrame' (a nil value)" error and make this work with 3.0+, change that bit of code from InterfaceOptionsFrame_OpenToFrame(self.optionsFrame) to InterfaceOptionsFrame_OpenToCategory(self.optionsFrame)

And all you need to do is edit the Procodile.lua in the SavedVariables if you know the Hidden Cooldowns and such from Wowhead! After that, this mod is pro. Wish there was a way to see stats without FuBar but eh...

How long do you think before this gets implemented? Tracking of any spells applying to you in the combat log would be sick, not just buffs.

Strange fact:
Having the Vanir's Left Fist of Brutality (2.50) with mongouse and Windfury (V), this weapon is shown in the procodile watcher, yet it offers no procs, appears to be linked with Mongouse proc.
Beside, having Rage in Main hand with same enchants (Mongouse + Windfury (V)) and the weapon is not shown in procidile Watcher.

Had to had the Spell Lighning speed (proc mongouse id: 28093) manually

using french version of the game btw

I can't make this mod track "mana restore" procs. I have the Insightful Earthstorm Diamond (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=25901), and frequently use the SSO caster weapon oil (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34538), but the mod does not show anything in verbose mode when they proc.
