Message Barker

Table of Contents

Addon for organizing and sending chat messages to one or more channels.

Supports links for items, professions, spells, talents, etc..

Allows binding messages to keys/buttons.

This addon helps:

Guild recruitment
Selling/Buying/Trading items or services in chat
LFM/LFG - finding people for groups
Raid Instructions
Battleground callouts

Generally, this is easier to use than macros. If you have any problems or suggestions, please leave a comment and I will try to accommodate.

Slash Commands
/mb, /messagebarker - Open/Close MessageBarker
/bm, /barkmsg, /barkmessage messageID - Barks the message with a given ID if it exists
/messagebarker_minimap_hide - Hide the minimap button
/messagebarker_minimap_show - Show the minimap button

After installing the addon the loading on the character has increased and bugsack catches such errors:

Great addon! Was in the process of developing a similar one just for my guild officers, but now that this is around I don't have to haha. Support for multi-line messages in channels that allow it (ex: guild) would be great though! Also the ability to use the guild/community links (ex: [Guild: NameHere]) in the messages.

I looked into the issue to see if it can be added because I am interested in this capability as well. As of 10.1 it appears that this is not available to addons via the API. Fingers crossed they update the API to allow this, cause the guild system has to get an update after the cross-faction invite jank.

Hello! I love this addon! Makes my Life so much easier!

2 things that you can maybe add:

- Hide minimap icon

- Add "Party" for the Channels
