Uninstalling since Blizzard fixed the API bug on live-side today, but thank you so much for having made this addon. I was able to have an easier time in old raids, such as Hyjal Summit, and take screenshots that I never could have done otherwise.

It has been known that Blizzard was going to fix the exploit. The addon author even updated the mod to disable itself once it was fixed.

I too would like the addon to not disable but to control the functions it does now within the limits WoW API allows..

I find it very convenient to be able to adjust not only the camera distance but also the Zoom Increment and Speed and to see the distance I am currently set at..
All this with having the broker so I can have it in my broker bar..

Edit: I just saw you had FasterCamera.. but it seems to not have a Max Camera Distance or Distance= will it have this in a future? If so I am fine with moving over to that.. I like that it has a Defaults button to reset to defaults

This addon will only work until August 30.

I suspect that the instant popularity of this addon helped convince the WoW devs to compromise on zoom distance. If so, you really made a difference in people's ability to enjoy the game. Thank you. /salute

blizzard is such a little bitch about that topic. it would be sooooo easy. create certain points in the world and ajust the max camera level so it scales down smoothly when coming near that points and place such points at every situation you think the camera exploids something and let the rest of the world watch. even further they could detatch the camera and make a free camera to begin with a specatator mode like record demo play demo demo2avi stuff like that setting up waypoints like malu05 did with his advanced camera giving people power over day time and weather for god sakes publish the damn world editor and let people create .. give everyone his own space to build in and call that the garrison that would be real housing. im getting carried away here :) thanks for the addon cheers

it is becaus blizzard have fixed this exploit bug on the beta realms, and this addon will not work when legion goes live

on beta you can use this "/console cameraDistanceMaxFactor 2.6" to check how far you can zoom out :)
