Intro

MailboxPlus is an addon designed to completely replace several separate addons with something Ace3-compatible, actively maintained, small, light, and fast.

Features

-Dropdown list of mailed toons, which can be used to quickly send a mail without using the keyboard

Planned

-Take all items and money from the inbox -Take all items and money from a single mail -LDB support to track the number of mails pending and any Auction House invoices, including what sold and for how much -Communication with other users of this addon to let them know of an incoming mail, including the subject and any item/gold content

Please Note

This project is in alpha status and it may have bugs. I also have a family that I take care of, so if I don't respond immediately, that is why, however I will try to fix errors that appear asap.

In the current release, only the dropdown on the send mail window, and some options exist (accessible thru the blizz options, or /mbp). Most of the options don't do anything yet, but the dropdown does function.

Note that the recipient list is sorted alphabetically, so any toon with a name starting in the later characters of the english alphabet, or any name starting non english characters will not appear if you send mail to a lot of recipients. I'm trying to think of a workaround, possibly letting you sort the list instead of it being alphabetical, or maybe adding a scrollbar instead of having to limit the length.

Note to localizers: Some of the strings are still in a flux, and may change. Please check back regularly to make sure strings you have localized still exist and are correct.

i have a few alts that "store" different types of items. one alt i use to sell items i think can fetch a dollar on the ah, one i use to store cooking items, one i use to store herbs, etc. it would be nice to have an addon that could autosend to those toons these types of supplies. im not sure if this would be a useful feature for alot of people or not, just a suggestion.

The beta is more alpha-quality, and nowhere near feature-complete. I've taken a break from the game for a while but I am back now and work on it from time to time.

I am really looking forward to this addon and keep checking for updates. So far, a lot of the planned features are, what I look for.

One thing I was not able to find so far in any addon is an auto-mail-option. There are frequently farmed Items I always send to a specific alt. (all Gems to this, all herbs to this and so on). Would that also be a possible feature for your addon or is nothing like that planned (or even possible?)

It is most definitely planned, I'm just not 100% sure about the implementation. Since you can mail multiple items in one mail, do we want it to auto send once the mail is full, or once the first item is attached?

I'm thinking of having an option to toggle it with a shift+click override or something.

I would wish for the feature list one can send his Twinks about a badge post and which one below with several objects dispatch all at once in a strip can put in to dispatch.
Would be this feasible?

At the current rate, it's unfortunately going to be a bit longer than I had originally anticipated. My wife recently had our second child, so fatherly duties have gotten in the way. Adding to that, my work schedule has changed so that I am on for about an hour in the morning, which I am doing dailies, and then I come home, sleep for 3 hours or so, raid for 3-4 hours, sleep for 4 hours, then work.. My only time to work on this is on the weekends, which has really hampered progress, but I promise it is coming.

I, for one, am eagerly awaiting this addon. I truly need something that works a little better in the current game than these old out of date ones. I'll be your cheering squad to help speed you along :)

Something you might consider adding to it is a multimail option... where you can send the same message to multiple people at once

That is planned, sorry I haven't posted more info, I've been a bit busy with trying to get achievements and gear for Ulduar. I'm off work right now due to having a new baby girl, so after I get a couple of other pieces, I should be able to work on it some more.

As it stands, this addon is a stub addon, meaning it doesn't do much of anything. There is no reason to download this addon at this time.
