Description

Ingela's Rapture is a lightweight and highly configurable addon that gives you a cooldown bar for the internal cooldown of Rapture.

Why?

When Cataclysm came with new talents and increased spell-costs, the tools to regenerate mana becomes a lot more valuable. With the talent Strength of Soul and casting Heal, you cannot throw a shield every time the Weakend Soul is off, thinking you will procc rapture. This addon helps you out so you can time it correctly and gain as much mana as possible from this talent, making this a simple yet great tool to help you reach better performance in both raids and heroics.

All I want is the sound, but I see no way to get rid of the cooldown text. I can remove transparency for the foreground and background, and remove the texts that appears, but not that timer. I resorted to pushing everything out of of my viewable area.

Option to hide the message frame is now in latest alpha version which will soon be a release. I'm looking into about hiding that bar, but I've run into some problems. The sound is played when the bar is finished, so if you hide the bar or disable the bar, there won't be any sound. Looking if I can make some nice function to it though, but atm moving it off screen seems like the best option, lol.

I keep being told rapture is ready... when I play my elemental shaman. An option to only enable the message/sound on specific characters would be nice.

Edit: I no longer have this problem. Also, the author of this addon is awesome!

Great addon! I was just thinking "I wish I had a bar for that" and here it is. I agree that the sound needs to be customizable (maybe just a few of them I can choose from), but that's the only thing I can think of that it doesn't do. Every disc priest should have this.

Thanks. Don't worry about the sounds it's coming. I've also planned to add so you can change color on the popup text and an option to disable the bar or the text popup if you just want one of those two.

It would be extremely helpful if I could have a sound effect when rapture comes off cool down (similar to how I use Power Auras). A configurable selection would be preferred, but just anything that I can hear while iI'm tunneling on grid would help.

It's not a totally configurable selection now but you can turn it off and on. Try updating the addon! I'll see what I can do about adding more sounds to it, but at least you can use the sound I added now!

Heya Djmcave, I didn't add a reversed bar but now there is a frame to be shown when it's ready that can pop up on your screen where ever you want it. I hope that helps. Try updating the addon now and test it out :)

Hya,
Can you add a option to invert the bar. Instead of it running out and disappearing, can you make it fill up and stay on screen reminding you you could get a proc ?
Lost the habit when cata came out, 2.5% did not pay for shield. :(

Heya coliander, I'm using a lib called CandyBars and it looks like it doesn't support vertical bars. I'll have to investigate more and perhaps even change lib, and that's gonna take time. But I'll see what I can do =)

I'm having some trouble getting the bar to actually appear. I can configure it and it will show up under test bars, but when I cast Power Word: Shield it doesn't show up. Is there some option I'm missing that toggles enable/disable?

Heya! That is entirly correct, you should not be getting a bar when you throw power word: shield. The only time you should get a bar is when your power word: shield is fully absorbed and you gain mana from rapture.

If you want to try it in combat, I find out those 79-80 Ancient Watcher elites (http://www.wowhead.com/npc=31229) right outside of Dalaran works perfect. Just shield yourself, pull with your wand and watch him hit you 2-3 times and your shield should get fully absorbed.

Ingela's Rapture does only work in US/EN clients.

Change the line around 564 to the following:
if destName == player_name and sourceName == player_name and spellId == 47755 then
