Hidden Reputations

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Hidden Reputations exposes hidden reputation meters in the reputation tab, such as Alliance/Horde or Steamwheedle Cartel.

Description

This addon exposes hidden reputation meters in the reputation tab in World of Warcraft. The following factions are known to have hidden reputations:

Classic:
- Alliance (for Alliance players)
- Horde (for Horde players)
- Steamwheedle Cartel
The Burning Crusade:
- Shattrath City
Wrath of the Lich King:
- Sholazar Basin

Similarly to Alliance Vanguard and Horde Expedition, these factions gain a portion of the reputation gained by their sub-factions.

These reputations have no known purpose in the game.

Configuration

There are no configuration options.

Known issues

Due to quirks of the API, these reputations are only displayed if their value is non-zero. This should be of little practical significance.
The reputation bars are too long. This is a bug in the client, which is also visible with Alliance Vanguard and Horde Expedition.

Also if anyone is wondering this addon appears to be working with 4.0.3 with no problems.

I don't care what anyone else says, this AddOn isn't "crap" or "lame". Some people are absolutely fickle about certain things like this, so for those of us who are, in fact, interested in seeing our reputation with the Alliance/Horde overall, Steamwheedle Cartel, or any of these other hidden reputations, this is very handy!

I downloaded this addon just to see my standing with that mysterious Alliance faction I got messages for ("You are now revered with the Alliance", or something like that), and I always kept wondering why, since I already was exalted with all the capital cities. So it perfectly meets my need to know things. And there are others like me, who just like to know. :)

Is there a need for this information? Maybe not, but some of us like to have it available.

To know your character's reputation with various groups. It doesn't give you any in-game advantage, if this is what you ask.
