Please update for version 11.1.7 Thank You. I respectfully point out that this add-on always seems to fall behind most of the rest of Handy Notes Add-Ons. This is a good, and most helpful add-on and is still needed by new players or players like me with 25 alts. I always recommend this add-on to other players. Please update regularly. Thank You.

I may take a shot at updating this but it looks like it's not been updated in a few months so it may simply no longer work. That would be too bad as it came well recommended.

This Add-on is not working with the latest patch and needs an update Bump to 8.3 please. Masses of Warcraft players have created "Allied Races" toons than need this add-on.

Note to everyone: some locations are out of date

The addon's version compatibility has been updated to 8.2.5, but that's just a number. Some of the locations were changed in like 2017, and they were never updated in this addon. Example: "Origins" is now in Krasarang Wilds, 31 35. The location that this addon takes you is an empty patch of land nearby...

Kemayo. please go through and check to make sure all the spots are there! Also update anything in caves to show the cave entrance. Finally, if you can, please add the ability to waypoint everything in Tomtom, similar to some other Handynotes addons. :D

Thank you for upgrading this addon, but the last version is not working for me.

I installed it the same way I did with other handynotes plugins, and yet, on the plugin menu handynotes can´t find handynotes_lorewalkers, so basically it doesn't work at all. Bummer.

Any chance of updating this to BfA content?

Install Ace 3.0 library, look it up here on curse.

The addon will work fine after that.

and now my -more or less- off topic question:

does anyone have a "quickest route" suggestion for all those who already have the 2x rep unlocked and want to do easier achaeology on their alts?

It seems there are only 3-4 chapters* needed to get exalted, as you already get approx. half of the rep just for completing a chapter.

I haven't tested around much, Isle of Thunder is kind of compact but still you  have the flight speed missing after all...

(*plus listening to those stories, maan we should suggest to have them skip-able after having this done on let's say 5 characters >.<)

Also asking since I once had 14 rep! missing! to get exalted. (usiing 10% rep buff too)

You can pick that faction and be their champ, but once you exceed the level bracket for random Pandaria Dungeons etc. this won't work at all...

(neither does planting on halfhill?)

But I guess this question belongs to "fan sites" rather than an addons hub.

What does that error message tell you?

Yeah, right:

just look up Ace 3.0  and install that library into your Interface/Addons folder and all will be fine.

(I assume these numbers displayed on the map aren't icons but some custom thing, that's why ace might be needed... but not too sure or whatever)

If you have TomTom you might also just want to just look up and add waypoints without using any other Addons.

The issue or downside with that might be that it does not look up your achievement progress, so you might reviisit places you have already been at with that given character - handynotes regards all objects that lost their blue glow

Hotfix (in Lore.lua):

replace 

HandyNotes_Lorewalkers = LibStub("AceAddon-3.0"):NewAddon("HandyNotes_Lorewalkers","AceEvent-3.0","AceHook-3.0")

with

HandyNotes_Lorewalkers = LibStub("AceAddon-3.0"):NewAddon("HandyNotes_Lorewalkers","AceEvent-3.0")

Not sure what's missing then, but at least it shows the spots ;)
