HandyNotes
Handy Notes for your maps. This addon is intended to be a small and simple framework for showing notes on your map.
Use /handynotes to access options.
You can add notes to the maps in 3 ways:
- Alt-RightClick on the world map to add a note.
- Use "/hnnew" without the quotes to add a note at your current location.
- Use "/hnnew x,y" without the quotes to add a note at location x,y on your current zone's map.

Posted Aug 24, 2015The 1.4.2 version is completely broken with my setup, with no other changes. This is compared to the 1.3.3 version I was previously using. I will try and get the error messages, but the first one that showed up, as soon as the game started, was about a Lib called ThereBeDragons? After that, my game map was missing and more errors from more mods started throwing everywhere.
Went back to the 1.3.3 version and everything went back to normal.

Posted Aug 24, 2015That's a ... strange statement. The 1.3.3 mod works fine with Carbonite as well as every other mod I have installed. Only using the 1.4.2 version has this problem. I know getting all mods to work together is a challenge for all mod authors, but can you see it from my perspective where only 1.4.2 causes a problem and every other mod I have works just fine?

Please contact the Carbonite authors to stop breaking things that come from the game.

Posted Aug 24, 2015Apparently the bug can only be reproduced if you turn on "Rotate Minimap" and then exit the game completely and then logging in again. Just turning the setting on does not trigger the bug. Not even reloading the UI or even logging out triggers it.
Just to be clear, the bug is there only if "Rotate Minimap" is on while starting the game.

Posted Jul 29, 2015I have an issue with my handynotes. It does not remove the treasures I have already looted. Is there a way to correct this? I found an option to show treasures I had already looted, but is is not selected.

Posted Jul 23, 2015A simple solution to update your Handynotes:
Open the Handynotes (meaning the core Handynotes; not the additional addons like Draenor Treasures, World Map Button, etc.) TOC file in your WoW interface folder. Change the first line ## Interface: 60100 to ## Interface: 60200 and it should update all of your Hadynotes addons.
