HandyNotes
Handy Notes for your maps. This addon is intended to be a small and simple framework for showing notes on your map.
Use /handynotes to access options.
You can add notes to the maps in 3 ways:
- Alt-RightClick on the world map to add a note.
- Use "/hnnew" without the quotes to add a note at your current location.
- Use "/hnnew x,y" without the quotes to add a note at location x,y on your current zone's map.

Posted Jan 6, 2017When you create a new handynote you can't select anything other than a star icon.
Once you create said handynote, you can't edit it.
In both cases the dropdown flashes for a split second before disappearing. Something regarding the onclick dropdown is obviously borked in the code.
No lua errors.

1) Always make sure map is full size. Partial size doesn't seem to let me add a note.
2) Unable to edit. The menu that appears when right-clicking an existing note does not allow interaction, nor does it stay open for longer than a few seconds at most.
I am able to change the icon for the note, but only after disabling nearly all addons that I use. That speaks to a possible conflict, but I am not knowledgeable enough to do anything with that observation beyond passing that information on to you, Nevcairiel.

Posted Jan 1, 2017Bug: Notes sometimes get offsetted by a few pixels to the left and up... all notes ever made in the maps, it takes a /console reloadui to bring them back to their original position.
Bug: The Alt-RightClick function to create a new Note sometimes stops working altogether and the only way to access to the new Note window is by /hnnew

Posted Dec 31, 2016Bug: Whenever I try to right-click to edit a note that's inside a subzone (ex: Ashenvale) the dropdown menu just closes quickly and can't click the options.
It doesn't happen when the note is in a continent map, in that case I can right-click and edit as usual.

Posted Dec 29, 2016I would like to apologize, I think I found the issue. Today I went thru the few addons I have and enabled them one by one... I started with HandyNotes, then Dugi's... All worked well. NPCScan was also an issue. I played for like an hour to figure out these 4 addons didn't' sync well. When I got to SpartanUI I got the issue again. There is a "module" for it that does something with the map. I'm not sure. I've never used it, but come to find out, that module somehow got enabled and is the culprit. As soo nas I disabled that module, the other addons that dealt with the minimap all worked in unison. I'll post on his page and see if he can figure out what the issue is. But something between it's map module, NPCScan, HandyNotes, and Dugi's cause an issue with icons not being displayed. It's odd, because if I disable just one of them. The others work fine together. LoL!

Posted Dec 7, 2016A bug is occurring where, while creating a new handynote, when I click and open the drop-down menu, the menu immediately closes itself without me being able to click on an option. This happens without any other addons enabled. Do you know what's going on?

Posted Nov 13, 2016Broker WorldQuests seems to be the culprit for breaking Handynotes for me. Whenever it's enabled, you can't see the icons on the mini-map. some of you others that are having issues, check and see if you have this addon enabled. Will post there as well.
If this doesn't fix it, well, you'l have to track down the issue yourself like i did. (Adding one at a time until it breaks. lol)
