Ever since 6.2.3, HandyNotes & HandyNotes_DraenorTreasures is causing my map to freeze (get stuck on a certain map), as well as keep my character location bar stuck in a specific area. It also randomly blacks out certain parts of the map and turns off fog of war, no matter which addon I have that removes the fog of war.

Does anyone know how to fix this, since this addon hasn't been updated in a while?

So, I got them to show on the continents, is there no way to get them to show on the world or cosmic maps? is it a different method? I see it does run the iter for the points when in world/cosmic, just none show up.

I have a perciluar problem here.  The little blue arrow that shows rare elites is missing from my mini map on just one of my characters.  I've tried deleting all addon config files in the WTF folder as well as my Cache and the addon itself and it still refuses to show me that blue arrow.  I went to a completely different computer running handy notes and it too was missing the blue arrow.  This is on a Death Knight if that makes a difference.  Very frustrating because I've come to rely on that blue arrow!  HELP!! lol

So, I was making a plugin for this to show dungeon locations on the map like carbonite and was wondering if you can make the points show on the world map instead of only the zone.

You have to update HandyNotes_Directions, as noted in replies to previous reports of this "error"!

Thank you very much for your nice addon, it's highly useful. Can you please consider adding the yellow and green node icons that you see on minimap for minerals-fish etc. (7th and 8th icons in the first row of this image: http://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/wow.gamepedia.com/0/0e/OBJECTICONS.png). Your default icons are not nicely visible on the maps for me and the icons I mentioned will make it a lot more enjoyable to use your addon. Please consider :) Or if it is a simple file modification, please give instructions and I can do the change myself.

Can´t find Astrolabe-0,4

Hey love handynotes! :P I was having some issues with my icons disappearing from my map/minimap, turns out it was a conflict with Minimap Button Frame, if anyone else has it to fix the issue you have to go to MBF settings and add HandyNotes under the Add Protected Item box.

This didn't fix my icons disappearing. Any ideas?

I'd Like to point Out that the reset button does not do dick.... Meaning that when reset the icons do not reappear on my map I would love to have this fixed please.

Forgive me for asking a question that may be obvious to others but I'm a complete newbie at this. Is this and all the various modules supposed to display icons for all the locations or just the ones you have already visited? Thanks for the time and effort you put into this.

I am having a recurring issue in which the markers for the modules appear on some characters but not on others. for example. My main character sees them fine and has gotten quite a few toward the achievement. However, a few of my alts cant see the nodes in the garrison and another cant see them at all. Ive reinstalled the addon numerous times in different ways but continue to have issues. 

Oh, they were - I made minor repairs to keep them running.  The latest change to HandyNotes was rather fatal though.  Thanks for the fast update, very much appreciated!

I've been using HandyNotes_CityGuide, HandyNotes_Mailboxes, HandyNotes_Trainers and HandyNotes_Vendors for a loonng time now, since they were new and supported.

Until the latest HandyNotes release which replaced Astrolabe with HereBeDragons, these older modules worked--mostly--and I've kept them around since there is no replacement I'm aware of for them, and it's handy to be able to find a mailbox or an NPC in another zone or whatever and get a TomTom waypoint to them.  Now, alas, these addons are pretty much dead.

Is there any suitable replacement for (any or all of) these HandyNotes modules?
