this add on needs to be up-to-date or make the others add on that relied on it independently its was good idea when it was updated regularly but now it's like a dam chore for this dude to do so or blizz need to adaped it into the game it self....

All the Handy Notes Add-ons are updated.... they have been for some time now. However, they will NOT work without this one. This is always the last add-on to update; eliminating the value of many great addd-ons. PLEASE UPDATE THIS ADD-ON.

I had to uninstall this addon after the weekly reset/patch on March 25th. Following the update, the addon began displaying icons for nearly every NPC in each zone, which was overwhelming and cluttered the map. I checked the settings thoroughly but couldn’t find an option to disable icons for standard NPCs—only settings related to rares or significant NPCs were available.

This behavior was not present before 3/25/25, and I hadn’t made any changes to the addon settings prior to logging in. I'm not sure if this issue is related to the Chrome King raid becoming available in LFG, but the change significantly impacted usability. Prior to this patch, the addon was excellent—now, unfortunately, it's made the map too cluttered to be functional.

Please update for version 11.1.0 Thanks. I find that the "Handy Notes" series of add-ons are the most use to me than any other add-ons. Bravo.

Please update for 11.1.0 .... None of the many Handy Notes Apps will work without this one; and they are all ready and waiting.

Last night I was using the open settings panel under the Handynotes Icon on the map.

Now it's greyed out and I don't know why. I have searched everywhere for an answer

to no avail. Please help.

is there a way to use /hnnew and also choose what icon/title is added but use the current location as the coords?

In reply to SonarDonar: if you use /hnnew [xx.xx, xx.xx} (first is x coordinate, second is y coordinate) It will pop open a box to create a personal handy note, and you can enter your own text. Also, shift mouse right click will open a box to edit or delete it.. so the command is /hnnew [x, y} inputting your current coordinates for x and y
