GridStatusMissingBuffs

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Shows missing buffs and handles welfare and deluxe buffs as one (motw/gotw, blessings, etc.). This lets you see when you need to apply a buff.

It looks like this project is being superseded by GridStatusAurasExt

If you want that level of customization you would need to use Grid2. It is still alpha software so that may not be appropriate for you.

is it at all possible to add the menu item of "Your Class Filter" found in your addon to the regular auras? I would love to use icon bar with first spot being my #1 button on my priest being dispell and on my druid abolish posion and having grid only show dispellable icons when playing my priest and poisons only when on druid?

doesn't work for me at all, no icon when buffs are missing and I used to have it working even on the Russain client before 3.0.2
I do not know what may be the reason, the Russian client or something else... but it's really difficult to live without the mod

To the maintainer of this mod:

You did some mistakes in that last release "GridStatusMissingBuffs v3.0.2.00 release".

Firstly you shouldn't remove Blessing of Sanctuary and Greater Blessing of Sanctuary. They are still in game, only their spell IDs have changed in the patch. The spell ID of Blessing of Sanctuary is 20911 and the ID of Greater Blessing of Sanctuary is 25899.

Secondly you kept Blessing of Salvation and Greater Blessing of Salvation in the lua. Both have been removed from the game. There is Hand of Salvation but this isn't exactly a buff anymore it is only cast upon a person with high threat to remove some of the threat over 10 seconds. So this spell should be removed.

I hope you can include this in the next version.

thanks for the tip, khepra. As I'm not a paladin, I just removed all of the paladin buffs from the LUA and it works like a charm.

It's failing because it's trying to load spells that do not exist anymore (primarily Paladin Blessings). If you're comfortable messing with the lua code you can remove the references to Blessing of Light and Blessing of Salvation. (I also had to change the spell ID for Blessing of Sanctuary as that was giving an error too.) I've gotten the menu option backby making these changes but I haven't had a chance to test in a group yet.

Hopefully the author will make the changes and update it soon.

Is anyone else having issues with this GRID addon with 3.0.2? I am using all the current versions from Curse. When I go into Grid Configuration - Status - Missng Buffs the tab is empty.
