GridStatusHots

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Separate indicator with timer (and counter) for: Rejuvenation, Regrowth, Lifebloom, Wild Growth, Riptide, Earthliving, Earth Shield, Renew, Grace, Prayer of Mending, Power Word: Shield, Weakened Soul, Divine Aegis, Inspiration, Ancestral Fortitude and Beacon of Light.

Notice that GridStatusHots does not output icons, only colors and texts, so it will not work if displayed in e.g. the "Center Icon" indicator.

IMPORTANT (r174 alpha / 4.2.0.2b beta or newer): ALL STATUSES SHOULD NOW BE DISABLED BY DEFAULT SO YOU WILL HAVE TO MANUALLY (RE-)ENABLE THEM! (e.g. Grid -> Status -> My Hots -> My Renew -> check enabled)

Excellent, will install this version tonight, set it up, run a couple raids with it over the next couple days, then get back to you. Just got Dragon Age tonight tho, will be a little preoccupied ;)

btw, regarding the Paladin HoT, MMO-Champ posted in the PTR patch notes recently that:
"Flash of Light no longer heals for an additional 100% over 12 sec if the target has the Sacred Shield effect.
Infusion of Light now causes your Flash of Light to heal the target for an additional 50/100% over 12 sec."

don't know if this affects your code, but there it is just in case

Anyways, both Earth Shield and Gift of the Naaru look and work great in your r123 build.
5 colors for Earth Shield is definitely more than enough, personally I'm actually just setting it up to show 1 color for 3 or more charges, 1 for 2 charges, and 1 for 1 charge, as re-shielding at any more than 2 is rarely necessary and usually a waste of mana. But to each their own, some may find a use for it.

I really wish GSH had Earth Shield supported. I searched for the one by urban_gorilla but cannot find. So I added support for Earth Shield myself, as well as Gift of the Naaru (as requested on the wowace site for GSH), and a few small bug fixes. Would you mind looking at them and maybe merging them into the official copy, Bogenlampe?

hi ia m wondering if you could add the paladin hot to this program, i can add it but can not put a count down on the color of the square i have the hot showing in. This would really help me cause the change in color catches my eye so thanks in advance.

For some reason My Earth Shield disappeared from the My Hots subsection of grid auras a few days ago. My Riptide and My Earthliving still work fine. Anyone know what could cause this, and what I can do to get it back?

You used the modified gridstatushots urban_gorilla uploaded. Earth Shield is not (yet?) supported by the official gridstatushots.

Ahhh, thank you Bogenlampe. I must have originally downloaded this from Wowace, and then forgotten when i came here and updated for 3.2.2. If it helps, I've used the Earth Shield function urban_gorilla for a little while now, and its worked great- never had any problems with it, and its rather easy to configure. If it's feasible, i certainly would recommend incorporating it into the rest of gridstatushots. For the resto shaman, it serves 2 purposes- shows you who has your own ES like other gridstathots auras, but also how many charges it has left on it.

That said, this is a wonderful and indispensable addon, thank you very much for your work on it.

For those people seeing other druid's HoT even after check "show mine only" button, try this

1. Make sure you have the latest version.

2. Open the gridstatushots.lua file in your interface/addons/gridstatushots folder with notepad.

3. Search for the following line:

local bname,brank,btexture,bcount,btype, bdur, bexptime, bismine = UnitBuff(unitid, i)

4. On the line directly underneath it paste:

if bismine == "player" then
bismine = true
else
bismine = false
end

works on mine :)

I just re-downloaded, reinstalled, and reconfigured, the toc version says 3.2, the priorities for rejuv, regrowth, and wild growth are 1, 2, and 3 respectively. I have all the colors set and at 100% opacity. Still nothing.

Do you have to have Grid installed to use this? It looks like "Grid2" is a rewrite / update of Grid, and this sees normal Grid as a dependency, is it going to be updated to work with Grid2 also or are they considered 2 different addons?

This addon never stopped working. All you had to do was either load out of date addons, or update the ToC in Notepad. I use this addon with another grid addon that shows corner text and (after choosing corners to show each Druid HoT) I see them all and their cooldowns just fine. Also check the priority setting. If it's too low, it won't show.

Ok, it says this addon was updated yesterday... but it just doesn't work. It's all there and it loads, I configured it, but it just doesn't do anything or show anything at all. I'm expecting the grid player frames to light up green with my rejuv on them but nope... nothing. I've googled and checked on other sites but can't find a solution.
