for herbalism its working fine, he adds the node to map+minimap if its not there already. But for mining, he doesnt add new nods, only the imported ones are visible

It's a localization issue. I think you are using the german client? Do as follows:

Go to \_classic_\Interface\AddOns\GatherMate2\Locales and open the file "GatherMate2-deDE.lua" with the editor. Now search for "kobalt" and change "kobaltvorkommen" to "kobaltablagerung" and "reiches kobaltvorkommen" to "reiche kobaltablagerung". 

After you did that, you should be fine. If there's any node, that won't add, just look on the name on your wow screen and look in the same file, if the names match!
