FuBar_TrackerFu

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

This is a simple FuBar plugin for your tracking needs.

It shows the currently active tracking mode on your FuBar as either the appropriate icon, as text or as both at the same time.
Hovering over the plugin provides you with a way to switch between your available tracking modes easily.

Furthermore it:

has an option to hide/show the minimap tracking button
optionally tries to make sure your tracking choice sticks even when unset by outside forces
(non-profession or -class tracking seems to be reset on logout, profession and class tracking is reset on entering arenas)

What lilnekochan said hits the nail on its head, the new system that allows multiple tracking choices is so totally opposite of how this addon was written...
I've been on the LibDataBroker (LDB) train for a while now, so I don't really see me updating this.

I, too, would love to see an update for 4.0.x. Any chance at that happening? Maybe I'll have to take up addon writing for this one, heh...

I don't think it'll be as easy as that unfortunately since the changed it so you can track more than one thing in 4.0. That being said, I would really like an update of this if at all possible as well. Thank you ^_^

For some reason, this addon is using over 4 mb of memory for me...something must be out of order.

please just delete the bindings.xml in your folder on the next update, cause there are no keybindings for it or at least its not used but shown in the key binding box. thx

It does, open the Fubar_TrackerFu.toc file, and remove the dependency:FuBar line.
Also you might need to change LoadOnDemand from 1 to 0, I had to for some reason.

A slight trouble with this as a feral druid. Cat form has automatic track humanoids, when I leave catform, the tracking is set to nothing. I'd like if I could for example, track humanoids while in cat, but keep tracking low level quests otherwise.

Is this possible to implement?
