FlagRSP2

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

FlagRSP2 is an AddOn for World of Warcraft that allows players to add additional information about their characters into the game. It is designed to support role players and allow others with MSP compatible AddOns to easily see if the character is a role player or is even in character. Characters can be fleshed out with additional names, titles, and detailed descriptions.

FlagRSP2 is a continuation of flagRSP 0.5.6 by Flokru. FlagRSP2 is a completely new code base designed to be more efficient and play well with other AddOns. As of 2.5, FlagRSP2 uses the new Mary Sue Protocol to communicate, and no longer uses chat channels.

If your FlagRSP2 copy is OLDER than 1.5.x you should delete the FlagRSP2 directory first!(The Curse Client will do this for you if you use that.) Copy the "flagRSP2" folder into your World of Warcraft AddOns folder. Before selecting your character and entering the game other MSP RP AddOns such as MyRolePlay must be disabled to prevent conflicts.

If you really like this AddOn and would like to help support it, there are a couple of things you can do. You can help by providing clear bug reports that try to accurately describe the problem and screenshots are helpful. Submit your trouble ticket here.

whats that thing in the background of the screenshot? The letters saying 18/25?

Anyway, looks nice, does it still work in wotlk? Also, make it become installable using the curse client, will get you more downloads I'm certain. Not every1 knows how to install addons without it (I could name a few, excluding me...)

The numbers are for MonkeyQuest. It is a really nice replacement for the default quest tracker.

FlagRSP2 does work with with WotLK and can be installed via the Curse Client.

Complete overhaul of Azeroth.

I can relate to that Alexia.

Blizz just keeps making things easier and easier for people to get things.
No Paladin or Warlock Mount Quests, we'll just give that to you now.
No Epic Druid Flight Quest, heck we'll just through you that now.
Oh frell, why not just toss you a level 30 mount...
Hell that ain't good enough, we'll give it to you at 20...
Oh wait we'll allow you to swap factions and keep your main too now...

Blizzard has gone backwards big time. I remember a time when everything I did on my toon MEANT something and was valued. Nowadays, it's starting to suck big time.

I too am really losing interest in WoW.

Dear Azxiana,

I wanted to look at updating FlagRSP2 for the 3.2 release, but was unable to download it because the manual install link has exired.

Is there a chance I can take a look somehow?

I just have one problem with my role play... unless something has changed, they show guild ranks with no way to turn them off and some people have the most disgusting guild ranks you can imagine.

Never thought about turning Guild ranks off, I always loved that feature.

Okay, this has really been ticking me off, I accidentally hit something, and now no matter what options I select/deselect I can't get any descriptions to come up anymore. I tried deleting both my WTF character folder, and the addon folder, then re-installing, but it's not working, the Config is obviously being saved somewhere else, because my description is still in the window.

How do I completely purge this addon and every file related to is So I can re-install it fresh?

Somebody on the moon guard server passworded the channel and essentially broke it for the rest of our side, is there a fix for this?

I was there when it happened, and an addon can't control a chat channel so there's nothing that can be done. However when it was reported to a GM, a Game Master actually showed up in Ironforge causing chaos while he fixed the channel for the Alliance roleplayers :)

If you installed r98 or higher, go back to using 2.0.10 here on Curse.com. The only version with that issue is the very experimental developmental builds I have been working on.
